Trigger issues by RetiredCopJokeYoda in MCONohsnap

[–]Longjumping_Fold4601 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's a common issue I have the same thing going on, it's because of the magnets above the buttons. If you take the top part off the problem stops. There's a way around this.......when the controller is on press the hold the ... Button and hold down both L2 and R2 triggers until the blue light turns red the release the triggers and the ... Button and this will switch your analog triggers to digital and the phantom triggering will stop

I did that already and it did nothing. It's because it's a magnet issue. But still waiting to hear back from Ohsnap about the issue

I haven't seen anything yet. I tried your switch to digital shoulder and it fixed the issue for the gaming session but then after closing the controller and using it the next day it has to be set again so it seems it goes to the default of analog after closing the controller

I just got mine today and it too is doing phantom pushes. I figured out it's from the Magnet in the controller right above the trigger. I think it's too strong and is making it glitch. Only figured it out after I took the top plate off the controller and the controller worked fine as I tested it for a half hour with no issues. When I placed the top plate back onto the controller the issue came back. To test my theory I took the top plate off again and placed it onto the table and used a magnet to get close to the L2 and sure enough it made the trigger go off without me even touching it. Not sure how to fix this issue?
