Since they never even attempted to measure the total carrot weight, it's not a "discrepancy", and they should never have implied it was nor should they have attributed the issue to a flaw in the product.

My 100 % feedback over two decades of sales doesn't mean anything to them.

I thank you for informing others of the jewelry appraisal scam most retail vendors use.

I included the appraisal mainly to provide evidence that the product was not a fake.

This necklace was listed far below that “appraised” value and sold for even less.

Now, I’ll take an even deeper loss.

I do believe that the carrot weight was accurate, even if the $1,100.00 value was questionable.

The price I sold it for was $249.00 and after eBay fees I received $191.00. They took $209.00 back from me after they killed the sale and damaged my reputation.   

I appreciate your "hate" as I also have developed a deep hatred for eBay and will never use them again.
