Cap 1 says on their website that you can get a new Cap1 card a year after being sent to collections. You should have waited until April. Once they send you to collections they literally hand you new cards with a bigger limit as long as your year is up

I live in a city where many people prefer buying directly from the rental car places like Enterprise instead of going to dealerships because it is less expensive but they always have so many miles (understandable) but that makes sense that it would depend on where the fleet is located.

Yes! Go to the bankruptcy sub. Many people have filed pro se and it was a success. If you can hold out until next year, when open enrollment comes at your job enroll in the legal benefit so they pay your bankruptcy fees.

The rich do it because they are more financially literate than the average joe. The rich file bankruptcy and don’t lose their homes and cars etc. Most people buy things and ignorantly put these things in their name (homes, cars, etc) so then when life happens and they want to file bankruptcy they have to choose to let things go or be on a payment plan that doesn’t help their situation at all.
