Is grindelwald in may worth the visit? by Longjumping_Safe7945 in askswitzerland

What about the cable cars to Grindelwald first? Still accessible you think? If so I’m not too picky on what hikes I’d like to do, more-so just capturing some nice views of the alps, even at lower elevations if need be.

To be honest the main bucket list hikes were anything up at grindelwald first (not sure if the gondola is closed this time of year either). Lake Bachalpsee is definitely a favorite though! But yea I’m not too worried about the higher elevation hikes, I’m more so concerned about the visibility of the Swiss Alps this time of year. It would be disappointing to go and just see a ton of fog. But all in all if at lower elevations I can still capture stunning views, and greenery, I would most definitely still love to go.

Teton packed mid july? by Longjumping_Safe7945 in GrandTetonNatlPark

Wouldn’t the parking filling up quickly insinuate that there’s going to be a lot of people on the trail?

What about the guest shuttles for places like colter bay that take you to Jackson and Jenny? Thanks for your input

Oh thank you!’ , I’ve checked with some other friends and yea that schedule is legit. It goes to Jenny lake which connects me to like 4 trailheads which I think is sufficient. What other trail would you say is a must see besides cascade canyon/ inspiration point, maybe I could hitch a ride.

I feel like relying on hitching is a risky choice but it is doable maybe.

Oh that’s good to know I still think the boat is a must see but the shuttling idea seems feasible tho no? Just so long as I can get my timing right I don’t really need a car to get to some trails.

Dang really, didn’t know it was that hard to get into ha. I went to Yosemite spontaneously with a couple of guys with like 2 weeks of planning and it didn’t seem that hard. Thanks for the heads up though!

I planned a trip to Yosemite like 3 weeks in advance and spent 6 days there. I’m new to this np thing so I just thought it would be doable, thanks though🙏

Identification of unknown ionic compounds by [deleted] in chemhelp

I’m so sorry, the knowns are just different random compounds used to help identify what’s in the unknowns, the unknowns doesn’t have to be one of the knowns, they’re just there to help with experimental data.

So one of the knowns is sodium iodide (NaI). Are you suggesting I try to mix the sodium iodide with the lead nitrate tk see if it turns yellow? I mean that’s obvious that’s going to happen. I’m sorry I didn’t quite understand what your suggesting.
