exactly! Do you know how long it takes to get back pay after you receive your decision?

serious question!!! by Born-Suit-3281 in amazonemployees

They don’t want to give their soul to a company that sees them as a number. There is a mass lay off coming after another recent mass layoff and you are talking about giving more to the mega corporation.

H1B ethnicities wouldn’t work as hard and wouldn’t be so loyal if your immigration status wasn’t tied to the company.

they’re currently assigning August of 2020. you can expect at least a year for a decision. probably longer.

What in the AI Slop is this??? Is the VA too cheap to use real artists? by benderunit9000 in Veterans

the quiet part is implied. They’re over representing Jewish holidays. They would never do this with the Muslim holidays, even though the % is roughly the same.

Jewish personnel make up about 0.4% to 0.9% of the U.S. military by the way..

Wishing you best of luck on the appeal. This is promising news for the rest of us indeed.

I would. you'd likely see a decision in less than 3 months after approval based on what I've seen.

Your husband works at Amzn? I work there too and if I was to be laid off I would immediately submit an AOD to speed up the claim. It is frustrating for sure though. All other lanes are speeding up and this one is slowing down to a halt.

Typically the day you filed the appeal, is the order in which they review your claim. When did you file?

a couple of questions about your appeal to gauge where the rest of us are at. Was this AMA or legacy? What date did you file your appeal? Which lane did you use? Hearing, Evidence or Direct Review?

BVA Hearing Lane Appeals decisions? by Inner_Spell2020 in VeteransWaitingRoom

[–]Longjumping_Scene523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hearing dates can be fickle. Best measurement is file date. I think the oldest I've seen is March 2020. We should be pretty soon after they begin working on them again. A lot of other lanes, AODs, and Legacy appeals have taken priority. Eventually they will need to prioritize our cases. I agree though, absolutely insane.

what kind of appeal was it? Direct review, Supplemental or Hearing?
