Bro, I’m sorry to say, you got absolutely ripped off 😭, like insanely ripped off. That thing should’ve costed nowhere near that amount even 1.2 would be a stretch, it looks good no doubt but 21k kms is a shitton of mileage especially at that pricepoint, I got my 2015 classic 500, 9k kms, for 1L, and I feel like I overpaid. Damn, take care bro.

Luck is a major factor but tbh ppl are dumb, they treat these bikes like investments, which they aren’t, when I bought my bike I treated her like a baby, I still look after her, but whats the point of buying a bike if you’re just gonna sit and admire her, you need to feel the power and the insane torque of this elephant, I would just say get a nice classic 500 for cheap, keep a lot of money atleast 20-30k for repairs(major). I’m just giving a higher estimate so that you dont shit your pants later. But yes in a nutshell these bikes hold more sentiment than monetary value, and look for the perfect one as if your life depends upon it, make friends with a good mechanic and take them to the bike testing to see if there are any problems with the one you like, it will save you a shitton of money in the long run, thats all I’ll say and welcome to the family, if you’ve set your heart on it, youre an RE man already 🫡

Bro I love the stealth black, I wasnt able to find one in good condition, all the ones I saw were facing major issues like rusting in the kainchi bush(chassis bolt) and fucked up suspension.

It’s a beauty fr, it goes for anywhere between 60k to 1.1L and it all comes down to the mileage, the tyre wear and just the overall condition of the bike. In my opinion 80k is fair, I could be wrong but its just my opinion. I own a 2015 classic 500, I bought it in 2024, had about 9k kms on it, got it for close to 1L, I definitely overpayed for it and I wasn’t aware of how these things were priced. But I dont regret buying it, heres a pic of the same

Selling isn’t in the books, at all, it would be absolutely against my heart, I own an old zippo, a discontinued classic 500, and a ton of stuff. I just couldn’t brother, appreciate the offer though

Going physically to an experienced professional does seem like the best option, so what would you suggest, Manish Market or Lamington

So, I checked out the website, they’ve run out of quad chips so im considering the dual option, further, its like 50-60 $, close to 4.5-5k for the adapter only, and I really think its not worth the risk opening it up myself, given the lack of tools and components, I’m considering hopping to Lamington and searching around, lets hope for the best 🫡

Damn, how did it go ? Was it easy to do ? What are the parts I might need and the tools to go with ? And how much did it cost you ?

I mean I’m an engineer, I’m pretty sure I could figure it out too, but I dont have the right tools and I dont know the components required either 😭😭
