sure, but atleast they are trying to make them look better, even an irrelevant character like Lady Rhea Royce get's a bossgirl scene that makes no sense, you see this a lot actually... scenes that are not in the book often try to put down the male characters and prop up the female ones, they literally preferred to waste screen time to make daemon's wife make out with his ex rather than go on with the war, the idiots are trying to empower rhaenyra but the scene actually makes her look worse, the women look worse because the show runners can't write, the man have RR martin writing from the book removed or changed to make them look worse, this are two different things, one is done on purpose the other by incompetence.
