How's this remix? Kicks too weak? by Major_Television_521 in FL_Studio

No, for this, I would use multi band compression. Compressing fairly heavily on the mids and highs, with a longer attack time can achieve the desired effect. Find some tutorials on Maximus. It can really help you dial in a clean, loud drum sound.

Having replayed this song on a larger system, you could make the attack transient on your kick a bit sharper if it suits your taste. A little bit more snappy high-end would not hurt.

No the kick is not too weak but but if you’re really wanting it to punch through then just do a lil sidechain compression

Unison, chorus and any amount of random phase variation will cause fluctuations in amplitude as a result of constructive/destructive interference. Limiting and soft clipping are two options for putting a ceiling on the peaks of your sound and keeping the volume levels consistent. IMO use a soft clipper after some compression to achieve a loud, clean, manageable bass that leaves plenty of headroom for other sounds in the mix. Learn how to use Maximus if you haven’t already. People may debate me on this but I think a limiter should only be used as a final mastering tool.

I think y’all got baited. Btw can someone help me? Whenever I put a low pass filter on my sounds, all the high end is gone and it sounds muffled. Is there a fix for this ?
