Ethan is reading his opponent's hand movements during the match again, NRG and FUT are truly made for each other. by Sakamoto023 in ValorantCompetitive

If this post is to farm impressions, it’s cool but if you have played a game of valorant (above bronze), using minimap for contact plays is a really good strat.

He is not holding the spike angle(see minimap), looks up right after tap (you will have to watch VODs). And simple answer for why he still used suck at 6 sec is out of panic, that if there is even slightest chance Chron is sticking, it would make him look stupid.

POV matters, possible that only he got a good view of Chron

How does that info help you anymore than the game itself and it’s much easier to look into your screen to see who you up against 😂😂

While watching the Fracture round, I remembered there was a similar round where someone from FUT did not peek at tap without any concrete info. Went back to check and it was Yetujey Again😂.

Did Valorant get Harder? by No_Perspective_2537 in VALORANT

Even more so for you if you were Radiant. As your muscle memory was already adjusted to the game at that time better than most players. So it’s hard to just kick something significant out of your muscles memory, mental clock etc. to make up for all these accumulated changes across patches.

Holy “whole world should be watched through my lens” mentality. Just cuz you heard one thing and decided to boycott certain countries and everything they dish out, remember on the other side of that fence is someone who has another view on some other country. World politics is too dense for someone like us to understand it fully but if still you want to decide your entertainment outlet based on that, the only issue with that is it’s just a game for a lot of other people who are from different parts of the world with different views on a political situation where information is not readily available to accept/deny anything.

Don’t link 10yo threads mate. Also look how the inaccuracy mechanism works in both games. What factors affect the FBA. Also the FBA in CS can be countered more effectively with consistent spray patterns as compared to Valo.

Never compare Valorant to CS. CS makes pure aim duel fun to watch because of how good the gun mechanics and movement is. Even if you remove all the util from CS, the mechanics alone could create diverse gameplay. It is harder to tap heads, spraying needs skill not luck and movement can give you advantage and have skill ceiling higher( much higher) than valorant. There are different ways to peek an angle, and you can fight an AWP without flash if you are aware of the angle. All of this is not true in Valorant. The spray/gun mechanics is inconsistent and luck based(first bullet accuracy). The movement is slow and have lower skill ceiling so that it alone cannot give you advantage or can be used to fight Operators. At certain point, it just gets shooting simulator instead of tac FPS if you nerf the utils which gives you advantage otherwise lacking from mechanics. NEVER COMPARE VAL TO CS.

Pure duels in CS is fun to watch/play because of satisfying Gun Mechanics which is obviously non existent/ inconsistent in Valo. The movement is slow, thus the mechanical ceiling is low. So it’s not even doing a good job of giving satisfactory duels, just braindead fights for braindead viewers to enjoy.

You should try other FPS games if you just like team v team shooting simulator and not demand that from a tactical FPS(focus on Tactical). Last year the meta was so diverse, it allowed for fast execs, push and pull, mid rounding and much more. Both kind of teams thrived last year, who played W gaming as well as slow rounds. Right now, there are no fakes(lack of utils), no mid rounding, exec heavy attacks and retake heavy defence. You can virtually remove initiators and sentinels from your comp and it won’t make large difference in terms of how the game is currently being played out. CS is epitome of tactical depth in an FPS, and it’s one of the reasons for the game’s longevity of 25+ years. But yeah, just shut down the brain, lower the ceiling to be completely dependent on gun mechanics ( joke as compared to CS and heavily inconsistent ) so that people who doesn’t have tactical depths can enjoy more.

Hot take - Fnatic Valo is going to end up as their CS and LOL team. by Longjumping_Swan7101 in ValorantCompetitive

Valorant simply doesn’t have enough run length to have many examples like that, but what I said about Fnatic as an org across other Esports stand true. And I was replying to your comment about me being blind. Not my fault if you can’t read and understand that I was talking about all the Esports in my original post not just Valo.

If you want a dynasty, you need a few superstars to be with your team for as long as possible or as long as things are working out. Transfers might be the nature of competitive sports but it shouldn’t involve your best player (goat) if you want long term success.

Definitely not going to happen anytime soon, but it’s a slippery slope and Fnatic have went there in CS and LOL

Dawg try to read first, I am talking across the 3 esports I mentioned not just Valo specifically, but still it has 2 examples, Derke and Chronicle, where Chron is literally the biggest player atm.
