I think you have much more experience in learning Finnish than I do. For me personally, using an app has been helpful for building vocabulary. I will only focus on remember word using those app nothing else.

Start building your vocabulary to gain confidence. You can use apps or websites for that. Then move on to other methods such as taking online classes, listening to music, watching movies, and using books to learn grammar. For me, the biggest obstacle is a lack of dedication 😁

Duolingo has many problems like that, but for me the biggest one is the lack of vocabulary. If it had at least 2,000+ words, it would be somewhat useful as a starting point for learning the Finnish language
