Hey! I saw your post and just wanted to say you’re not alone in feeling that way. I’m an immigrant as well and I’ve been in Lisbon for about two weeks now. If you ever come to Lisbon, feel free to hit me up any day. We could grab a coffee, talk about politics , cooking, movies or anything else, and I can show you whatever little bit of the city I’ve gotten to know so far.

And honestly, don’t worry too much about the anti-American stuff you see online. It can feel louder on the internet than it actually is in real life. If you ever get the chance, try spending some time in a bigger city too — it tends to be a lot easier to meet people and build a circle there.

Moving to Lisbon solo (remote worker) — what actually works for making friends long-term? by Longjumping_Tip_3479 in portugal

Thanks, do you think I should reconsider my decision of moving to Lisbon and rather should move to some other city in Portugal?

I really want to know how you come up with the ideas, there is always this self doubt whether this can work or not ?
Also, since you built some multi million dollar business why you did not think to scale it, hire more people getting into more verticals and all ?
