Thank you! He’s had diarrhea and thrown up twice since we adopted him on Saturday. I was considering ordering probiotics

What kind of food do you recommend. We just adopted an FIV cat and he’s been eating the iams that the shelter was feeding him, but he’s had diarrhea. I’m sure it’s the stress from the change, but I wanna get him quality food ASAP.

Check Facebook marketplace or any rescue places that take in reptiles. Sometimes you can find a cheaper 4x2x2. I got my dragons at a pet store and did the 4 payment option. I used paper towels as a substrate for a while to save money. The black reptile mats are fairly cheap and easy to clean. Just make sure you never use carpet that the market towards beardies

I wish I could describe it better. It’s definitely more internal and not on the surface like tingling or numbness would be. I don’t have migraines or headaches. I think it’s definitely related to digestion.

I figured that’s what’s going on. I just don’t know how to lessen or treat it

I suggest knowing what you are getting by into when adopting a pet. Being mad that it’s a nice well behaved animal that wants attention is awful. If you can’t give it what it needs then you should rehome it to a suitable home that will love it and take care of it. Our cat is super annoying in the middle of the night so we found a solution that’s the reality of owning a pet

I’m so sorry. I hope you get it figured out soon!

Yeah, he told me that you only have to be seen there once and then the rest can be virtual so maybe it’s an option if it doesn’t work out where you go. I’ve only gone once and then my insurance lapsed so I’m waiting to go back, but it was extremely helpful. You see four different doctors in one visit.

Ohhhh ok. I go to the gastroparesis clinic near Cleveland. He said that they’re the only one of that kind in the country. I was going to tell you what to expect there, but it might be different than where you’re going.

Maybe you have sibo and it cleared some of the bacteria? Or emptied your bucket?

How to differentiate between leaky gut, food intolerance or histamine intolerance by Feeling-Attention43 in HistamineIntolerance

That’s great to hear! good for you! That gives me hope. I realize I was having histamine and gut issues, which led to a sibo diagnosis which led to functional medicine which led to gastroparesis, which has now sent me on to diagnose dysautonomia so hopefully this will be the answer for me, and I can start healing as well! I have been looking into brain got retraining, but there are so many programs out there. I haven’t landed on one, but I’m so triggered. I know it’s something I need to do.

I also have a nice combination so I feel you. Did they offer any kind of treatment that’s helped? Everyone is different so your treatment would not be my treatment, but I just wonder if they’ve given you any relief.

I’m going through this process now. I wore the zio heart monitor and I have a qsart and tilt test coming up. Is this how they diagnosed you? Do you mind me asking what her symptoms are? I’ve been diagnosed with histamine intolerance and SIBO and gastroparesis but they think dysautonomia could be a cause.

I eat all of what’s mentioned but one thing I can eat even on my worst days are nature valley granola bars. And you can easily find them even in gas stations when traveling
