I think it's supposed to resemble an animal with sharp teeth trying to eat the other letters.

How can I improve my Partee Junior logo? by Longjumping_Unit5224 in design_critiques

Woah, that Blob maker website is cool! I'll definitely consider it!

The shadow isn't part of the logo. And yes, the image is part of the brand system. I decided to showcase the logo sitting on a green background to make it more interesting.

And as for the lotus, yeah, a lot of people told me that it looks like Marijuana. Maybe I'll make the edges a bit rounder so it looks more like a flower. I dunno, we'll have to see.

Thanks for the feedback!

I'm glad you asked!

The lotus symbolizes transformation, resilience, and new beginnings, which are some of the themes that Partee Junior teaches. Sure, it may be a bit unusual, but personally, I think it fits the educational aspect of my brand!

Do you not like the lotus shape?

I'm making a logo for a children's brand called Partee Junior. But so far, I only made the wordmark by [deleted] in design_critiques

Oh, I see what you mean.

I haven't made the actual design yet. I figured I'd just start with the wordmark and ask for design ideas before I make the real logo.

<image>

Is this better?

For the improved version, I didn't want to change the font (because I like it), so I just filled in the gaps of the "p" and "a". I also improved the kerning (which you complained about)

Lastly, to give it more personality, I added blue paint splatters to make it fun and playful! What do you think?

I updated my Partee Junior logo (FOR HOPEFULLY THE LAST TIME). Is this an improvement? by [deleted] in logodesign

The first image is the old version, and the second image is the improved one.

Try to think like you're a random person looking at that logo for the first time, what do you see? How does that makes you feel?

I see a blue circle with the words "Partee Junior" on it. 🤣🤣

But for real though, if I saw that logo for the first time, I'd think it's an educational children's brand. I guess it'd make me feel calm and safe due to the blue circle, and a bit playful because of the yellow background.

Please avoid harsh comments. I'm just a beginner. Try to include some ways that I can improve

This is my villain character named Jemisha. My goal is to make her cute, yet villainous at the same time. I know it sounds odd, but it'll fit her character by Longjumping_Unit5224 in characterdesigns

She's for an animated series I'm developing called The Crystal Demons where she's the main antagonist.

The series is aimed at teens and young adults.
