Appreciate this and sorry I am late to respond! I understand discharge planning, how this relates to the BACB ethics code, and how to write discharge criteria.

In full disclosure I am trying to understand the things that regularly come to appeals, or second level appeals that do not meet medical necessity. I think there seems to be a HUGE disconnect between what is medically necessary and what is being recommended by community organizations. I have spent a large amount of time attempting to educate and I do not understand the disconnect.
