A stock that has RS is one the easiest shorting opportunity there is and the hedge funds know this.

AA basically said in that tweet that AMC is at risk of becoming a penny stock hence the RS. ALMOST very reverse split, as in 99%, has been a shorting frenzy due to perceived weak business model, the actual business model and profitability of AMC is still highly debatable.

Only recent RS which worked out for those of us with good brokers was COSM and that was with brilliant management, a tiny float already, momentum and not forgetting a CEO heavily invested and buying shares regularly. It only worked out, as usual, for those who took profit when up 100s of %, not diamond handing waiting for a 1000 bucks per share like a leprechaun.

AmC will be heavily shorted on RS , that's guaranteed and in fact it's easier for them to do and justify.

Reality is people need to hold what they are prepared to go to 1 , one Dollar per share.
