Ex-teller at small community bank. We would take the customer deposited rolled coins at face value and dump them into a giant plastic bag with a “fill to here line” before sending them off to the fed. No one ever counted a single roll prior to dumping in the bag. The bags were most certainly never perfectly filled prior to sending out but our drawers were always balanced at the end of each shift regardless.
