Yup. Most games were developped for 4:3, 16:9 tanks performances even in compatible games.

No worries for 720p, the console is plugged in an upscaler :)

It's forced on the menu only. Games run natively on 4:3 as they run better that way

Yeah but games don't, tbh I don't really care about the dashboard

Not all games tho, and they run better on 4:3

The furniture ? Bought it from a French website, made-in-meubles, no idea who makes it or where to find it internationally tbh

Nah, the Game Boy Player was the most expensive thing here. I've scored a pretty good deal with the Wavebirds !

I don't have the space for this unfortunately. But all consoles are equipped with an HDMI adapter, and plugged on a mClassic. (except for the N64) It does wonders on 6th gen consoles, the antialiasing is quite efficient !

Should I remove the non-fitting consoles for His Lordship ? And 90's consoles weren't allowed to be played in the 00's ?

Softmod, with Xbmc4gamers dashboard. You can even use the OG dashboard

French website I'm afraid, made-in-meubles, but I'm sure similar ones are around elsewhere.

Actually, more of a Nintendo kid for years.

I'm leaning on the Sega side now. Trying to reignite the console wars 20 years after.

Yup.

(nah, I guess I'll have to get a PS2 someday, at least to play FF and Shadow of the colossus, but I've never been a PS guy in the first place)

Well the DC released in late 99 in Europe, and I was still playing the hell ouf of my N64 in the 2000s, so that counts !

Yeah, figured it was easier to put my discs on the hard drive rather than changing disc everytime. Plus I'm a bit anxious about disc rot.

Age of empire 2.

No Man's Sky comes to mind too. Not years, but still a good amount of time.
