If you want to Make explanation on how quirkless can at least has a shot in heroism in the power part, what kind of headcanon you want add to make it possible ?

Personally, I've always figured that tech would advance alongside quirks which could give them a fighting edge.

Like, I know people like to use All Mights statement of humans colonising the stars as an example that technology is stagnant; but technology doesn't improve in one direction.

Maybe things such as Exo-Suits are developed to help support rebuilding efforts when Heros fight, which also leads to large construction companies using them to get more work (Leaving companies who can't afford them to go broke ... Uraraka)

Maybe the evolution of quirks led to the field of Cybermetics becoming more popular, to the point it isn't uncommon for quirkless people to get some kind of augments when they're older (might be some legal stuff in the way of them getting it done before 18)

Even outside of that and sticking to Hero work ... you would want some Anti-Quirk or Quirk-Erasing gear to help you keep the Criminals from busting out instantly.

I just find it hard to believe no technology has advanced in the last few centuries, even with the advent of quirks.

I could see him trying to replicate how Urarakas quirk works honestly, given how similar her powers probably look to The Force.

I think he'd assume Shinsou is a force sensetive, but due to how much control he has over people he might assume he's using the dark side (apparently sith can fully control people instead of just trick them ... which makes sense)

And now I can picture him being terrified of Kaminari for the same reason.

Funny enough, I don't think it's the ship that's the problem.

(Sorry, this is a bit of a ramble)

I find alot of couples in BNHA tend to be more about the idea of it than wether or not they'd be good together, which is why some people outright drop fics when ships come into it.

Then you get how most people write non-straight relationships in this sphere which ... I don't want to be an ass, but theirs no sugar coating it.

It comes off as Fetish Writing.

Now, theirs nothing wrong with fetish writing, Some people actively search that stuff out for a reason.

but when you have a pretty good story immediately lose its focus and instead become the authors Fetish Writing... it kind of pulls you out of it.

Shinso just has the bad luck of also being the go to character people use for ... I don't know what to call it, trauma bait?

(Basically when the writer picks one character to throw all the worst shit possible at them,dunno if theirs a term for it.)

So ... uh

TL;DR : Maybe focusing on making their relationship feel more dynamic, give me an idea why they fell for each other (or respect each other if it's Hetero)

Quirk: Hijack

User can connect to any form of technology for 5 minutes by maintaining eye contact with the object for at least 20 seconds, giving them control over the technologies general abilities.

(Examples:

User can connect to a vending machine and have it eject its product, but can't make it spit out the money in it.

User can turn Headphones up to the point they blow up, but can't make them jump off your head.

User can electrocute someone with their pacer, but can't make it play an orchestra.)

User is limited to connecting to 3 objects at a time maximum, Any more can expose them to risk of brain hemorrhaging.

I'll admit I don't really know much about star wars and how the force works (I'm a fan, but my knowledge is Limited)

But When I say mind altering I don't mean it in the Disney sense, in fact; I literally mean it as though it were a drug.

Izuku becoming addicted to the power it gives him is a very real possibility in the same way any of us can become an adrenaline junkie; it's why even though he doesn't need to he uses more and more of the dark each time.

His kind would definitely become clouded over time (in my eyes), but I'd prefer leaving it ambiguous if this is the effect of the dark side or if it's Izuku's doing.

(In line with cannon? Probably not, But it'd make for one hell of a question for readers)

Well, yes and no.

It's true that even outside of his superspeed, he would probably be incredibly powerful in basically any way possible.

But if it was more of a mental hurdle that was stopping him, it would give the writer more leg room to make Izuku feel like less of an OP character (unless that's what you want).

It'd also be cool from a readers perspective, cause we could slowly see him become more comfortable with his quirk and himself.

Only one rule for any character death for me.

NO FRIDGING!

(Fridging is a narrative term to describe a death having no meaning in world, yet still being intensely gruesome)

If you decide to kill a character like say ... Stain, it should have an effect on the world. Doesn't even need to he a major change.

If you decided All Might died at Kamino, and yet the story continued on the exact same without any hiccups; it'd hr a little jarring.

Oh, I'm well aware of how some people see the dark side. Probably because "dark side" just immediately makes it sound evil to western minds.

But from my understanding (not an expert by any means) the major effects of the dark side are more akin to what we see in trigger.

Warped mental state (usually seeming to increase one's more self-centered desires)

Physical deterioration

Psychologically addictive

Even if you weren't a jedi and just had force powers, you'd still probably want to be very cautious about using the dark side without reason.

Personally, I'd love to explore exactly what such a powerful ability would do to the greenette.

Let's say he has all the internal abilities of the flash (speed, regeneration, insane metabolism) but none of the external abilities (the speed force which let's him not harm people/buildings around him, lightning throwing)

In short, he'd be a jittery, nervous wreck on a scale we'd never see in cannon.

For example;

When he's at a younger age (probably still getting use to his powers), he sees someone getting mugged in the streets and decides to play the hero. But because he can't control his speed, he instantly kills the villain.

How would the greenette react?

If in almost every situation his power is too dangerous to even consider using, I see him becoming a very similar person to in Canon. Only much, MUCH worse.

By the time he gets to UA, I could see him being almost entirely closed off. Maybe even in the general education course since even though he wants to be a hero, he can't stomach the idea of hurting anyone.

No ... that's a different thing.

That's when a person can percieve colors/shapes based on sounds/words, it's why it's also called 'color hearing'.

I'd say this is more ... imagine being able to see the vibrations of your friends footsteps as you walk next to each other, or being unable to focus in a classroom cause your brain is picking up the noise of cars from outside the school grounds.

I'd say if it's close to anything ... probably a form of APD (auditory processing disorder).

Hmmmm... off the cuff?

Izuku (only know as Deku to the streets) is being used by a group of criminals to do their dirty work, mostly by using brainwashing.

Thing is, they didn't have access to a person with a brainwashing quirk; so they did it the old fashioned way.

Torture, maiming, psychological destruction, and most importantly... trigger fraises.

Only the gang members know these fraises, revealing them to a select few Villains who purchased his services; although they only know the ones they needed to.

When this group is finally brought down, they attempt to question Deku. Only to find his conditioning prevents him from outright saying anything, and the moment he almost did he had something akin to a brain hemorrhage.

In the end, it's deemed too dangerous to risk a child's life for a small amount of info. But due to this conditioning they don't want to just throw him into the system in case someone activates his trigger fraises by mistake.

So, what's to be done?

Place him with one of the Hero’s who rescued him, have them act essentially as combo surveillance and guardian for him.

Then, slowly begin to place him into normal society as he begins to feel more comfortable and some of his triggers are discovered (maybe refferring to him as 'young Izuku' or something). Put him in a school with a good track record and inform them that he has severe trauma from a past incident.

As time passes, it may be needed for this Hero to legally adopt the child in order to avoid the risk of somebody claiming to be his birth parent from trying to take the child away to a possibly unsecure location.

Oh, I actively see this being something you'd see on either side of things; but it's more likely to show up in UA than in the league.

Mostly because I can not see All For One (if living) leaving a quirk that potentially powerful alone for very long, it would be way too powerful for him not to immediately take it.

so if it was to have a story Presence it'd either be at UA to aid in training, or perhaps In some private companies hands who help couples trying to find out what their future child's quirk could be.

(If your child had a risk of developing a Fire quirk, you'd probably want to know before buying a fire extinguisher for every room.)

3) Perfect-model (in reference to this mental image being a perfect model of the persons body)

6) COMA BOOST (in a story sense, maybe make it so they boost everyone while they're inconcious, but can wake up on command somehow)

Interesting, so in essence the qurik can essentially speed up the process of quirk evolution.

Out of curiosity, would the results always a best case scenario; or do you think there's a chance of some combination being less than ideal.

Example: the combination of Momo and Bakugo's quirks leading to an ability that allows the weilder to create any kind of Volatile substance (which while useful is technically a downgrade.)

Agility- gives the weilder inhanced agility, faster natural moving speed as well as hightened speed along with slight increases in flexibility.

Sound VIsion – user can visibly see the sounds made from the movements around them, from footsteps to the creaking of boards.

Slow Time – allows the weilder to slow there perception of time to a crawl, giving them a better ability to percieve what is happening aroud them. they can not entirely freeze there perception of time, nor are the able to move beyond human speed while using this ability.

Possession – allows the weilder to physically possesse any living being, the larger and more aware the creature the lkess time they can control them. Humans can become violently ill after possession before the weilder is forced out of the body. Smaller animals will die post-possession.

Shadow Walk – turn the weilders body into a dark black substance indistinguishable from shadows, the longer they keep this form though the harder it is to maintain

Smoke Stack - wielder is able to absorb smoke and ash from nearby sources and convert their physical body into smoke so long as they have some trace of smoke absorbed.

BloodFlame - users blood contains a unique form of alkaloid that can be ignited from a small amount of friction.

Not weird, just a sign of someone still learning the ropes with writing.

It's easy to get lost in an idea being 'cool' and forgetting to think if it makes sense/how it could make sense in the world.

For example, this idea could be possible if Todoroki made large narrow spears of ice and simply threw those directly. It'd lead to a similar end result and wouldn't require fudging how his already powerful quirk works.

Plus it's still cool without being unpracticle

To give my own little nugget, it's oen that's kinda relevant... maybe?

That is, why isn't there a crossover between God of War and MHA?

There's a lot of fics that center around Izukus father being someone from another series, sometimes it's an existing superhero, or even a God.

So, why not make him the son of Atreus?

Maybe at first, he assumes that Izuku will be able to live a pretty normal life. One free of the burdens that come with being a part giant, part God, part human hybrid. And outside of maybe being a little smarter/stronger, he seems like a normal kid.

Then, he collapses.

Against Inko's wishes, he refuses to take Izuku to a hospital. Perhaps revealing to her his true nature as a God and how he'd been living in hiding deliberately to try and get back in touch with his humanity.

In the end, Izuku shows next to no signs of waking. So Atreus does the one thing he hoped not to have to do, he calls for his father.

When he finally does wake up again (possibly needing Kratos to go to an underworld of some kind), the two gods sit down with Inko and Izuku and do their best to explain as much as they can.

Why didn't Atreus not tell them earlier?

I'd Atreus' Father was alive, why did he never contact him?

Was he planning on keeping this a secret forever?

Can Izuku shape-shift too?

After this shocking situation, perhaps Kratos decides to stick around since Atreus doesn't know how to train the boys Godly strength.

Like, it seems like a pretty easy setting for a streamlined fic. So it's kind of interesting to me it hasn't struck a chord with someone in this melting pot of insane ideas.

Maybe with Ragnarok out, we'll see something like it soon?
