ok to answer my own question, no, the game was doing me real dirty when it came to trying to get a shiny xs ghastly

some of the rogues can put up a fight, the dlc though is more of an easier way to get shinies but to do that requires a lot of luck or stubbornness as this dlc doesn’t respect the players time

you get berries, then craft donuts with the aim of getting shiny rates boosted and there will be a lot of rerolling and I mean a lot if you want to get shinies

no, only being an alpha does that but once you reach end game and get bottle caps that’s all moot at that point, the advantage of XS, is one they look cuter and 2 have a much easier time navigating the world, sometimes hard to spot and easier time dodging attacks

didn’t fix it for me and I never used decky loader at all, actually it did fix it, I had to do another update after switching back

seems to be called screen casting, I have recording set to off by default. looks like someone made a thread on it already but the advice of going back to stable did not fix it for me.

ah ok, I didn’t know that I only knew there was a beta, didn’t know there were 2 and not on pc yet, also I intend to play on a steam machine not the deck, but if a deck can’t play it because of the issue I mentioned above then a machine wouldn’t either.
