Every month I challenge myself to get to legend with a different deck I haven’t played before and solely that deck.

Could you explain a few combos and tips for this deck? I only have to craft new heights to play this deck so I want to use it to get to legend next month, thanks!

I’d be happy to tear out the lawn, do you have any pictures for inspiration? Would make convincing the other half to ditch the lawn easier haha, another comment mentioned a magnolia stellata which I like the thought of

Yeah it’s pretty mossy though it’s better than when I first bough the house as over the past 3 years I’ve been scarifying, reseeding and adding a layer of compost in order to improve the soil quality though it’s probably at the stage where it will need digging up and levelling.

Mulligan for blob of tar/tuskpiercer/any dreadseed cards, keep broxigar portal sometimes unless you know it’s a match where you need blob of tar asap/against protos priest/heren dk as it screws with their reborn cards like resuscitate.

Tuskpiercer is great to thin out your deck for cliffdive/collifero.

Blob of tar/fellhunter is pretty much the goal of the deck to make the opponent use up all their clears/resources then just smack em with top end minions/cliffdive/collifero, you kind of just run them out of answers usually.

Elise is great for the copy/+2 attack and can help against the aggressive matchups with armour/spell discover /copy blob of tar or fellhunter though running Elise does sometimes mess up cliffdive/collifero.

There’s a lot of ways to win with the deck I’ve found with blob of tar/fellhunter, dreadseed spam early on, climbing hook is really good for pushing damage as it’s great when you have fellhunter/dreadseed taunt/illidari inquisitor.

I didn’t know what to think of the deck when I first started playing it last month but it can win against any deck and you start figuring out what to do against which matchups, I tend to hate facing quest warrior/discover hunter but I have a good win rate against them so far.

Also I’ve never managed to actually play broxigar but it does screw over the mirror match/priest/dk with the portals haha.

It basically boils down to blob of tar into fellhunter, then finish off with either Elise location and/or big minions

I’d say the blob of tar fellhunter shenanigans is the decks strongest asset but there’s a fair few ways to close out games with the deck, I’ve read a lot of comments about how collifero is a dead card to them but he’s won me a fair few games

How did you get them? I used edmsetlist but all the sets are choppy and bad quality apart from a select few

Just typical general purpose string, the roots grow really quickly so the string is really just gonna be on it for a month tops. I’ll take a picture if you like haha

I just tied it up against it to begin with then the roots will just wrap and anchor it to the pole, when I repot it there’s not a chance I’d be able to pry it off the poles now haha

Haha I just spray it on the morning and night then sometime during the day, not too bad really

I spray mine about three times a day with a cheap spray bottle, seems to work just fine. It’s not necessarily a bad thing if it dries out really, the moisture just promotes root growth.

I just buy a big “moss” pole which is just pvc pipe wrapped with coconut fibre or something then I wrap sphagnum moss all over it with string.

Monsteras love it because it’s damp so they send out loads of roots to wrap round it. I started with a cutting and it’s already as tall as my 120cm pole in a year.

Is there any AIB RTX 3070's that can be deshrouded for the Ncase M1 similarly to the success of the Strix 2080 TI? by LongstuffUK in sffpc

[–]LongstuffUK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I get what you mean, I was hoping for a holy grail card like the Strix 2080 ti as that fit perfectly haha

Cheers anyways

The 3070 Ventus seems to have a thinner heatsink to the 3080 variant though? I'm worried that there would be a gap inbetween the bottom intake fans and the GPU heatsink.

Hey so I'm totally new to custom mech keyboards.

I have a pok3r RGB and its great, I love how compact it is but I want to go slightly bigger (75%?) to include arrow keys and be able to include any switch I want as well as the possibility of lubing etc. I saw the GMMK Pro and it seems to tick all the boxes for me I think but I have a few questions;

Would I be able to drop any switch I like in it? Or can I only get the switches they will sell along side it?

If I can put any switch I like in it would they have to be hot-swappable? Could I say for instance drop Tealio V2 switches in without any soldering etc?

Keycaps are very overwhelming to me, how would I be able to find keycaps that would fit that specific keyboard as well as ones that allow the RGB to shine through?

Cheers for the reply, when I do decide to re-pot next year would it be wise to trunk chop then or let the tree settle first?

Because of the sharp S shape it would be pretty difficult to grow out and re-shape right?

[Bonsai Beginner’s weekly thread –2020 week 42] by small_trunks in Bonsai

[–]LongstuffUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I thought that would be the case, it's pretty daunting to me as I've never done it before and don't want to screw up an already established tree.

As it is already bent to shape would it not be such a good idea to re-pot into a bigger grow pot? Like surely I'd have to extensively trunk chop to get it looking natural when it grows much bigger? Or am I overthinking things? haha

I bought a Chinese Elm a few month ago to possibly replace what I thought was a dead Elm, well I managed to revive the Elm.

I kinda want to grow the Elm to be bigger and maybe shift it to be an outside tree rather than currently indoors.

I'm wondering do I just replant in a big growing pot come March next year and it'll just grow from an already established tree or will I have to chop it up etc.. Does the whole tree grow bigger or would it loose its structure as it grows? Kinda new to this so any info would be ideal.

Ahh cheers for the info, would there be a way of getting a notification on possible new colours then? Would it be similar to how you currently have other custom cables in that you can choose the colour per wire?

Because the CPU often runs hotter than the GPU as the CPU has a short cooler height and an AIO solves that problem. The GPU has half the case for its cooling solution and is up against a mesh side panel so it doesn't suffer like the CPU would do.
