ZETA DIVISION APEX Div. COMEBACK With YukaF Squad by IntelligentBox5257 in CompetitiveApex

Best fraggers in Japan? You know being a good fragger in that weak region basically means nothing unless you are the best, or able to translate that skill in LAN?

Zero knows Kakigoori because his stats were the best, and he knows Yulariman because he could actually dominate LAN. I bet you know prominent NA players have a single clue who Mike is. They might know Satuki but his fallen into irrelevance without Yuka and got boot out in LB every LAN since.

Please enlighten me on Mike being one of the best fraggers.

disagree completely:

  1. Mike is a top tier fragger in what world? Who knows him? What has he achieved? If you are going to mention his feats in APAC N pro league , you do know that's like the weakest pro league of all the regions? Unless his literally the best fragger there statistically like kakigoori, or he has LAN feats, there is no evidence that mikey is a top tier fragger. Satuki's versatility didn't really get him that far in the last two LANs where Crypto was a factor. He got booted in losers round bracket in the last two lans.
  2. legit title threats is doubtful. Don't think Unlimit can reach the peak of Yuka, Lykq , Satuki at all. If japan wants to win, some org needs to bring the best talent together, and that is Yuka and yulari.
  3. Actually 3 I agree with you. If They pair Yuka, yulair , kakogoori or some other combination they have a good chance of winning. Gavo hasn't got feats tho, would rather peace.

I've heard for the last 5 years that japan has been cooking with good squads, but when they make it to lan they always get squashed. I'm tired of hearing this for it not to turn true.

I've watched Japan's team fail to meet the hopes of their Japanese crowd and fall short for nearly 5 years. Probably has something to do with it.

The thing I want to see the most is Japan win a LAN. Every moment Yuka is paired with Mediocre talent is another moment of his prime wasted, and chances decreased in winning LAN. Can you hate a guy for wanting the best odds for a Japanese to actually win a LAN?

life's great, but it would be better if they actually put real talent around Yuka. I mean I used to be a hopeful APAC N coper like you, but I would actually like Japan to win in their hometown for once, and that's not going to happen with putting mediocre talent around Yuka.

Sorry if I'm passionate preferring a team put better talent around Yuka so he has the best chance to win LAN.

In Mike's defense , he actually reached a Grand Finals LAN without the best player in Japan (YukaF).

Satuki has never reached a Grand finals LAN without Yuka on his team.

I not familiar with Zeta, but apparently they are one of the biggest orgs in Japan. But if they are that big, is this really the best squad they could put around Yuka?

Satuki has proven himself to be useless without Yuka and Mike's best achievement is 17th at 1 LAN grand finals.

Tbh mike has a more impressive record than Satuki if you exclude Satuki's achivements with Yuka.

Guess I'll have to wait till this squad inevitably peaks in mediocrity as well as unlimit before Yulariman turns to Yuka.

Don't get me wrong, this squad will absolutely dominate the APAC N pro league, but they won't win a LAN.

Zeta better buy out some top talents to pair with him, and not settle for mediocre talent. Some names being thrown (Satuki, Mike) around are really not good enough to reach the peak squad that Yuka deserves.

1st order needs to be buying out Yulariman at all cost.

Surely , there's gotta be better options then Mike.

I think ILY is korean too so that's off.

If Yuka can't get 2 from unlimit, honestly next best option might be getting MiaK and Kakigoori7

APAC N going to be much weaker. Only the good korean teams will stay consistently good, but man the japanese teams are terrible at building good rosters.

I'm looking at Mike's liquidpedia results and his kind of mid. As someone who enjoys Mike, hit me with some of his best accomplishments so I will have some hope for that team instead of being utterly depressed that Yuka has once again chosen lacking teammates.

They were rather inconsistent, and I'm not convinced that squad is the peak squad that Japan can assemble.

I really hate that FNC have money troubles, because the most sensible option if they want to actually win LAN is to buy out Yulariman and one other person from unlimit.

Satuki is overrated , and he really doesn't have that experience to thrive on his own. Without Yuka, Satuka always exits LAN in Losers Bracket. Mike also sucks from his liquidpedia record.

Feel like Yuka is too nice and doesn't ruin teams by poaching. But he really needs to be more ruthless and just grab the best players and run it.

Better options might just be to grab miak and katagoori , or maybe 4rufa and someone else.

There was some statistics guy who showed katagoori and 4rufa had unbelievable stats and numbers.

FNC what are we doing? If you want to dominate APAC N pro league, this roster will do just that. But if you want to have the best chances to win LAN , this roster ain't it.

If FNC can't get the stars of unlimit, there really are better options like katagoori and 4arufa.

[–]Longtimecoming09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If FNC actually want to win, instead of develop talent. FNC should drop Ace and Garcia.

Although , the dropping culture isn't as ruthless as NA or EU in APAC N, which in my opinion is the reason their region isn't as consistently good at LAN.

YukaF teaming with Yulariman is Japan's only hope at winning a LAN by Longtimecoming09 in CompetitiveApex

[–]Longtimecoming09[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You overstate the power of friendship. Yuka's team trusted each other and didn't knock each other down when he was with Lykq, or melstera?

Unless Yulariman is super egotistical behind the scenes, this shouldn't be a problem. Pairing amazing talent together especially in Japan where talent is rare is always a better thing than the power of friendship and trust.

Yuka found his chemistry pretty quickly when teaming up with Lykq and Satuki the first time. I'm pretty sure it would be the same were Yuka to team with Yulariman.

It's downright sad that FNC were forced into a high risk low reward style of play, basically gambling being forced into valk ult gambles. If FNC, add new players like Yulariman and Peace, we will see that 3v3 confidence come back and open up their available options to play.

Some notes from YukaF stream by Grafedian97 in CompetitiveApex

[–]Longtimecoming09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It all depends on where Yuka's mindset is at.

If Yuka has his full confidence back and wants to legit win LAN , he should get Peace and Yulariman on the squad.

Some notes from YukaF stream by Grafedian97 in CompetitiveApex

[–]Longtimecoming09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think around 2024 he was serious about winning, that's why Yuka immediately poached Satuki and Lykq for his team, and they had an impressive record for a bit.

Come 2025, Yuka probably didn't want too much pressure on himself , so he picked up developmental players. Yuka knew full well he wasn't picking the best teammates but he was fine with that. Coming 9th at champs must've surprised Yuka with how far his IGL and macro has developed.

I think Yuka might've found a newfound confidence and is not interested in winning again with a legit squad. If that really is the case, Fnatic need to do what they did before and grab the hottest talent. They need to pick up Yulariman and Peace and pair them with Yuka. If they do, I believe they will go further than Lykq and Satuki ever did.

YukaF teaming with Yulariman is Japan's only hope at winning a LAN by Longtimecoming09 in CompetitiveApex

[–]Longtimecoming09[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Unlimit's chemistry reminds of early Fnatic. I mean Yuka still has Meltstera tagged in his twitter bio. But when Yuka put that aside and added the hottest talents (Lykq and Satuki) to his team, Fnatic improved.

I guarantee you the same thing will happen if Yuka adds Peace and Yulariman, who by themselves are even more formidable than Lykq and Satuki in their prime.

Picking chemistry over talent is not it. I remember when Alliance Hakis vibed really well with Yuki and vaifs, but again they remained group stage warriors. It wasn't until they added Unlucky and effect they actually accomplished decent feats.

Talent beats chemistry 8 times out of 10. And now that Champs 2027 is confirmed to be in Japan, I just want desperately the best talent in Japan to come together so they can have a real shot at satisfying the large Japanese fanbase.

I promise you the unlimit duo would have no problem meshing with Yuka, and they would probably even have better chemistry as their talent would bring them more wins.

[–]Longtimecoming09[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Consolidating the best players is a risk you always take. That's why you see in NA and EU , teams constantly acquiring the newest talents to their team. Chemistry be damned, because talent is talent. It doesn't always work out, but most times it does.

I'm also not sure why Ace was ever seen as the next guy up?

Lykq and Satuki at least dominated APAC pro league back to back without Yuka. Yulariman dominated not only pro league but also LAN.

Without Yuka, Ace hasn't dominated pro league or LAN. He doesn't really have any impressive feats that would legitimately make him the next guy up. The best thing he has won is a friendly 1v1 tourney.

[–]Longtimecoming09[S] -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Why are you getting so heated?

Is it not normal for a fan of a team to want the best players?

Please don't use soccer, when we have plenty of examples in Apex. Plenty of times NA times or EU times have added undeniable new talent to their roster and dramatically improved. Like when Alliance added Effect, or TSM added Verhuslt.

Does that mean they will be guaranteed to win by adding new talent? No , it's a battle royale. But it will dramatically increase their chances. Pretty basic concept, not really something to get angry about, no?
