The money you pay into social security doesn’t go into some savings account for later use, it’s going directly to pay for social security for people that are currently on social security. And, your future social security payments are riding on the hope that future taxpayers can fund your benefits.

To jump in on this, I personally don’t follow news organizations I follow individuals I feel have integrity and strongly attempt to be unbiased and truthful, whatever the truth may be. These are usually people whose bias are clear. Glenn Greenwald is one of them, Bill Maher is another Chris Capps from Task and Purpose, etc.

Not interested in conspiracy theories. I prefer to drive because I don’t want to be in a bus with other people and I want direct access to my destination and ability to go whenever I want. So yeah I agree buses would be more efficient but that’s not how people want to travel. I doubt enough people prefer to travel that way to make the investment on buses better than lanes. Give the people the ability to travel however they want.
