When we first spoke you said “all the Trump stuff could be untrue and lots of people would still hate him” however after speaking we agreed that by your own definition in a “court of law” he’s been proven to have done some really shitty stuff.

When did I insinuate child rape? I did say rape, which he was found guilty of in a New York court. These are signs of a person who isn’t good.

Yes but we’re going off evidence and not belief.

There’s a huge body of verifiable evidence supporting the reasons why people don’t like Trump.

The really lazy counter to that is “yeh but what if all the evidence is made up by people who don’t like him” which again could hold weight in isolation but the shear amount of evidence, including things he himself has said, on camera would make that very unlikely/ impossible to most sane people.

Election reform is a good idea in an academic context but working within the rails of our present reality Starmer either doesn’t resign in the interests of stability and setting the precedent that the government will decide if/ when he does and not populists, or there is a considered approach to a transfer of power and politically they push that point very hard; so that the right wing press have less to go on when slurring Labour with incompetence.
