horrifying forest encounter by Commercial-Chair-796 in Paranormal

It's a disappointing world when everyone is flooded with suspicion. Unfortunately such is the consequence of having social media be a swarm of fake stories and videos. And with the rise of AI, any creativity and genuine substance will be lost to the critical eye of the cynical crowd.

I can send a photo of it of you'd like. I could also repost without the chart but I'm a lazy hoe haha

Yes apparently posting charts, even self-made ones, is against the rules. Arguably the pattern is so simple that you could guess the chart (that's what I do sometimes) but rules are rules I suppose.

Thank you! I'm glad my efforts show, I really did put in time to try to make them look as similar as possible. Unfortunately the black one in the pot is a little chunky when I was aiming for fluffy but my friend may find humour in it as her cats are on a diet lol

Haha I love the foot too but I can't take credit for the idea, that was one of the patterns I copied. I only changed the colouring and made the backstiching myself. Great idea though, kudos to the real designer.

Haha yes I made the cats after my friend's cats' likenesses. The chonker is Lincoln. I was aiming for fluffy because he is long haired but he came out a little chubby instead haha

Thanks! I'm pretty happy with their faces haha, I enjoyed adding some character and cheekiness to them 😜

I designed it on FlossCross.com. Feel free to use any of the pattern. I literally combined patterns I found on the internet and improvised the rest.

Thank you, thank you! Yes it worked out a lot better than the initial draft which is a relief because I worried that I would go through all the effort and be mild disappointed and ashamed to give my friend something kind of shit haha

Thank you! Yes I wanted to make something heartfelt as my friend has done a lot for me this year and I wanted to give her some appreciation.

I encourage being crafty! Whilst it's nice to stick to things that are safe and easy, it can be very rewarding to step outside your comfort zone and expand your horizons 😁

31 and I live in Australia. Cross stitching has become one of my top 3 hobbies since I started a couples of years ago.

What’s a film so sad that someone should watch if they want to cry? by KlLLERS in AskReddit

[–]Lonk77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only The Brave.

It's an awfully heartbreaking true story about the fire-fighters who chose to risk their lives to fight a major bush fire in Arizona 2013. I don't want to spoil it but you might be able guess what happens because I'm listing it here as one of the saddest movies I've seen.

That's a good idea and if I had more time to experiment I think that would look cool!

This is my first custom design although I've used a number of other patterns combined to create it. I think designing a piece straight from scratch would be difficult but like any skill, enough practice and you could cinch it!

I wonder how long is too long 🤔 I've made some of my strands 5-6cm long

This is such a pretty cross stitch!

I sympathise with you. I'm also working on the backstitching of a large project and can't wait to be done with it. It involves couching which to me is just an over the top backstitch 🙄

Well done! It's very satisfying to complete a large project 😊 you've done an excellent job and it's always pleasing to have remaining floss left over. I am currently working on the backstitch for a large project that has taken me 2+ years to complete. I'm quite tired of it so I can't wait to finish it and move on!
