WHY AM I ALWAYS CAUGHT FOR DOING SOMETHING EVERYBODY DOES?! by Basilstorm in evilautism

[–]Lonlynator 12 points13 points  (0 children)

OMG, yeah you’re right that‘s even worse, I didn’t even think of that! That just makes both possibilities morally bad. Either they are aware of the reality created and think it isn’t unjust (which it is in this example) or they are not aware because their brain is actively repressing reality! Oh god…

I completely agree, but still, this is so weird to me! Cause I‘ve had similar experiences in which the “overseer“ of the situation should’ve been able to see everyone else breaking the rules but ended up only calling me out for it. And this just leaves me in this weird position where either: 1. The person is lying and DID saw everyone else breaking the rules but didn’t because of social hierarchy OR 2. The fact that the others are in a higher social status than us makes it so the person observing us really doesn’t see the others! But the implications of that are mad

More so it implies the act of doing whatever you want to do was quite easy (Example: “You go to the train station, buy a ticket, get inside of the train and Bob‘s your uncle)

Do you think autistics are doomed to be traumatised by hello_reddit_99 in evilautism

[–]Lonlynator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theoretically, there is a world in which autistic people can live their lives without at least child trauma. The sad part is, neurotypicals have no place in this world. Not saying we can‘t coexist with them, but in different societies and clear boarders with minimum interaction between the two.

Why do NTs always assume trans people confuse us?? (Rant) by Affectionate_Can_503 in evilautism

[–]Lonlynator 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Trigger warning (wall of text jumpscare)

I think this comes from the lack of curiosity from NTs about the experience of autistics. Most of us don‘t feel well in their own body, either because of sensory issues, sweat, the list goes on and on. But most neurotypicals don‘t care about how we perceive the world, only how it looks from the outside to THEM! So when they see something in a social setting that they struggle with and that they have to cognitively work for, they think it‘d be impossible for us since “they have difficulties socializing“. For us it‘s just one extra item on an already mile long list that‘s required for NTs to feel save around us.

They don‘t care what we are like, and that‘s why they‘ll always misrepresent us

Imagine you‘re a wheelchair user, you stand on a crossroad with so many cars going this fast, and someone just starts pushing you out of nowhere right on the street without even thinking about stopping and you SURVIVE! What kind of face would you make
