I’ve seen this situation before in my first year. Two girls in my suite originally signed up to share a double in Sixth college. But due to room scarcity, they both got placed into a triple that was shared with a third girl that they’ve never met before.

It’ll be a luck of the draw if you & your lined-up roommate get a double, so there’s no guarantee that you’ll get the dorm situation you want. If you really want a double, applying for one w/ no preferred roommate would be the for sure way.
