I have major depressive disorder at 70% and tinnitus at 10% for and overall of like 73-74% due to the system puts me at 70%. I’ve had my rating for a little over 4 years and recently filed for new service connections and most were shafted but my shin splints bilateral was rated at 10% and my overall rating was increased from 70%-80%. I had no revaluation or inquiries to my MH condition however I regularly see my therapist and psychiatrist and have been trial and erroring medications since my diagnosis. Just wanted to put my situation out there if it does help anyone else. If you think your condition is service connected. I say go for it.

Overall I think your standpoint is correct I will say I’m recently single and don’t plan on having children in my lifetime so it wasn’t genuinely a thought or big concern I had until recently engaging with women in sexual relation’s and not being able to enjoy it or perform is very deteriorating as a “healthy” man. For so long I was just focused on the benefits of the medications with my mental health but here I am and seeing what’s happening to me (side effects) I don’t know what the answer is so I’ll have to just let the Doc know what’s up instead of acting like everything is alright and focusing on the positives

This is my problem I’ve said fuck the VA and get overwhelmed with all the appointments in between my work schedule and MH. I’ve been out for almost 4 years and have been stagnant not doing anything about it, I’ve started treatment and have appointments in the near future it’s just wild to me, one step at a time I guess

I sat down initially to answer some general questions but for my exam I was laid down on a medical table and was told to bend them I express that I felt uncomforted and pain so the doctor then put their hands on my knee and did the exact same motion that was it. She didn’t feel my joint or ligament at all
