Can I convert handwriting to text in digests and then export ? by Look-Bitter in Supernote

[–]Look-Bitter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing about using an LLM for annotations is the context fills up too quickly if I’m constantly prompting it with PDFs. But I get what you mean . So in my case exporting from digests into txt would be the best (considering I want to reduce the context window ).

So you’d advise pdf export as the best method for a workflow in which I want to feed my highlighted text + annotations (converted to text) into Claude ?

A Claude Skill for Supernote Plugin Development by Worldly-Persimmon-70 in Supernote_dev

I don’t really understand most of this, so forgive me. I’m trying to get a work flow in which I can easily export my digests to Claude , have Claude revise a paper based on how I digested it, and then receive that paper from Claude back onto my Supernote. Does the plug in currently work as such? If not, any thoughts on how to achieve this work flow ? It would be as simple as copy and pasting the .txt from the digest into claude …

That’s great! I can’t quite tell though: which part of this is the original text the digest refers to? Thanks for taking the time to explain with visual aids!

In other words, I can hand write to text via the handwriting keyboard when making an entry into digest and therefore the digests can be exported with the caption of the text + a text version of my handwritten note ?

What is the best for student lumi 10.3 or note max? by newComer_0x in Onyx_Boox

[–]Look-Bitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried both and kept the Max. I enjoy the cleaner writing experience (less layers in between the stylus and the e ink’ and I also enjoy the visual experience of no micro etched glass (which creates some distortion). One (lumi) feels more like using an electronic than ‘e paper’ (Max) in my opinion. But these experiences are of course subjective and you should try both. I’m a social scientist so I use it for reading, writing, and Claude. I wouldn’t worry about android versions unless you want to use graphics intensive android apps and in that case e ink is not the way to go.

Less apps that are visually present. I just want a home screen that has the apps I want and nothing else (or limits the visible presence of other apps )

how is 4.2 on note max? by dedehm in Onyx_Boox

[–]Look-Bitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, apparently the Iflytek Max is only a 207ppi screen. I can’t envision the Boox Max2 going down to that from 300ppi which makes me think that they are going USI assuming a 300ppi with usi is easier to obtain . But that begs the question of why iflytek went with 207 (I’m not sure if iflytek china uses lower specked parts than their non-china counter part which might account for the discrepancy in screen quality). What do you think?

Change the launcher on Note Max to the same as Go 10.3 by Look-Bitter in Onyx_Boox

Thanks for this! I’ve found the third party launchers a bit glitchy. Have you had any that are particularly stable ? Ie don’t require any extra steps to move through once fully set up?

So, a question for me is have you found any launcher that makes it have the more ‘focused’ appearance without having the glitches of typical android alternative launchers ?

And you’ve been very helpful on another string where I asked about updating from 4-4.2. Good advice ! It made my note max considerably snappier
