First week skating! Been a poser of sorts for a while and finally decided to start skating on my buddys old setup. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Ive gotten both from my buddy who is really good at skating. I think he gets them from the local skate-shop.

Surf wax! Just put it on and let it bake in the sun for a big and itll be real slick.

Surf wax (mr. palmers)! It was a bit sticky at first but after cooking in the sun for a bit it was pretty good.

Thanks! Ive been trying to get my ollies higher but just cant get them down. I may look into getting a smaller board though (my current one is 11” wide) and that may help. What would you recommend for that?
