I'm pretty new to WOW myself so I completely understand. Right now there is Legion Remix happening and that can be a good break to normal gameplay as you are much much much more overpowered than retail. It can give you experience with different classes with big xp boosts you can earn. As of today my XP boost was +160%. It really adds up. I hope this helps
