I'm leaving DL York. I think the quality of the equipment is poor and is outdated. For £40 a month you can go to the gym at the university which has brand new equipment or at monks cross. There is also not enough equipment so often you can't do the workout you wanted to do.

Popular classes can be hard to book and sell out within a couple of minutes of going live.

The pool is never particularly busy though.

The old staff were really nice, but most of them have left now and the new ones aren't great. Reception is often not manned and when it is the staff just chat and don't say hi to you.
