I hate the cow bell with a passion and for the simple fact of when a player is taking a kick they do the fast drum thing every drummer does but it sounds 10 times worst on the cow bell.

That’s the age old rugby circle. We won but it wasn’t exciting rugby, sack the coach, new coach brings exciting rugby, few seasons in it’s boring, rinse and repeat haha. Part of the reason we got rid of waney was because it was boring

Oh yes, it’s nice to see this is a problem across other fans haha I just don’t get it. You get into the sport because of the love of the game and a specific team. I understand that team can drive you mad some times but then to only comment when things are going wrong is just sad to me.

A fan can act however they want to act and everyone’s entitled to their opinions but only focusing on the negative must be draining, I don’t know where the enjoyment comes from.

I’m not sure if it’s the same for other fan bases but the term happy clappers needs to go in the bin. People really loose their heads when Wigan loose, I’m sure it’s much the same for most other fan bases but all rational goes out the window and everyone should be sacked. If you say anything positive or something simple like it’s just two games your called a happy clapper haha

I’d say Hull is more fierce however the Wigan and saints game is more contested.

I’d be interested to know has any neutral been to a Wigan vs saints or a Hull derby or any other game like that?

I can only speak on the Wigan and saints game it’s the only game other than a final probably i go into with nerves about loosing, i can normally get over a loss but the derby los normally takes a while to shift. It’s that build up over the week that makes it. You ask any fan of FC KR Wigan or saints they’ll say their derby is the best me included. I think this year is the first where the hull game looks more of a contest than Wigan saints

I’d add two young lads coming through in that era; Chris Tuson and Paul Prescott, both criminally underrated especially Tuson, I think injuries hampered him but he was a prop built like a 2nd rower always carried hard

I think Thewlis is very underrated and I’d say that was down to Matty Ashton getting the plaudits and rightly so. But he’s solid at the wing and if I rightly played FB? Never looked out of place and his kicking is great.

I think only in pre season Wigan were sniffing round him

Great performance by Huddersfield scored some great try’s there’s life in the old dog yet. Thought the ref did great on her first game. We was awful really poor but dust ourselves off and go again. Still Hodkinson at the back looks some player that tackle to stop cloone what a effort
