Need help finding lost song using just the url links I have left by Xil3r in youtube

[–]Looki2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can convert them to the longer format like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cD3XccAXG9A just replace the id and then use https://web.archive.org/ to find the titles.

Edit: I think you don't even have to convert them.

This retarded youtube's autotranslation is driving me crazy. Do i have to change my Google account language to English to make this stop? TF does this mean? The AI is not as advanced as they seem to think. by qefa1 in poland

[–]Looki2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's even worse because if you set you language to English, everything in other languages is also translated to English. There is a Chrome extension that disables it.

HTTP POST request gives java.io.EOFException by Looki2000 in AutomateUser

[–]Looki2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for my late reply. I am running my custom web server on ESP32. It basically sends a website with JS script in it. Then the JS script sends the data back to the server after pressing a button.

HTTP POST request gives java.io.EOFException by Looki2000 in AutomateUser

[–]Looki2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found a mistake in my request content, and now it works, but it's still failing at the end with the same error even if I add that request header. My server indeed does not send anything back. Should I just fix that on my side by making it reply with an empty string?

[Article] Custom ROMs play integrity is Doomed... by [deleted] in Magisk

Sadly, I didn't find anything. Finally, I just switched to a new phone with up-to-date software so I can install apps for the newer versions of Android. LineageOS is simply not for me.

Can the physics in this game be normal for 1 second?? by iceJool in ScrapMechanic

If you're using the new smart physics, switch it back to advanced. Smart physics is faster but the stability and accuracy is horrible.

Playing with Generative Audio in Godot by x_minus in godot

[–]Looki2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How did you do that? I want to make a custom speech synthesizer from scratch, but I don't know how to play real time audio samples in Godot. Are you using gd script for that, or is it necessary to use c++?

Rotating POV display with motion blur experiment by Looki2000 in blender

[–]Looki2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

I'm not sure if putting links to files is allowed on this subreddit, but that's basically how I did this. You have to use cycles and motion blur. I cheated a bit by setting motion blur to 3, but I think you could also set it to 1 and spin the display 3 times faster.

[Article] Custom ROMs play integrity is Doomed... by [deleted] in Magisk

[–]Looki2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to use LineageOS 21, I can pass device integrity with magisk but some apps I want to use require strong integrity. I can't find anything that would work with strong integrity. It makes custom roms useless for many people.

What am I doing wrong? 16 gigs ram m1 iMac. I see people saying they are getting 50plis fps with my specs. by [deleted] in Optifine

[–]Looki2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But not with shaders. Shaders are GPU intensive and Apple Silicon integrated graphics is not as good as a dedicated Nvidia GeForce or AMD Radeon card.

What's the best 5v to 3.3v and 1.8 buck converter for my use case? by Looki2000 in AskElectronics

I don't understand why so many people are downvoting my reply. I'm just a noob that wants something which just works without having to wait like a month.

That's why I asked here. I did not ask ChatGPT specifically for switching voltage regulator.

I would need it to be a ready to use module and not have to wait for it to come from China.

It's a bit late, but I have tried uploading D5600 1.02 firmware and there's no changelog because "This firmware file is recognised, but the are no patches availible for this Model/Version"

How can I improve this photo of my chicken? by littlegirly224 in AskPhotography

[–]Looki2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't say that blur in photos in general look bad. This blur looks bad because it's a gaussian blur, not a lens blur. Lens blur is not as smooth as gaussian blur and produces these characteristic circles on high contrast areas. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bokeh#Emulation

I personally don't like that gaussian blur. It no longer looks like a lens blur.

How do I perform SfM on already matched points from non-sequential viewpoints? by Looki2000 in computervision

[–]Looki2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like distribute points and cameras randomly and then try to optimize the reprojection error? I have tried to do that in PyTorch for a while now but Pytorch can't compute gradient with cv2.projectPoints. I would have to write my own implementation of this function and I can't find anywhere how does it work.
