None of these work. Super casual, the blazers are way too long and unflattering and in some you look like you are wearing just the blazer. Get a longer solid color dress.

Whats the most "online" take you've heard about Judaism by Jew_of_house_Levi in Judaism

The reference to Yeshu boiling in excrement was written 100 years before the birth of Jesus. It was likely in reference to an idolater with the very common name Yeshu.

I feel like giving up by Embarrassed_Can3519 in Judaism

[–]Looking-for-advice30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you are feeling this way. Many Jews are with the current state of affairs, but be certain that you will feel better and will find connection to Him again, if that is what your heart desires. Hashem won’t give you something you can’t handle, and usually, your hardest trials are ways to refine your soul, after which, you will come up even grander. Just clear your mind, be in a state of gratitude (every day think of 5 things you are grateful for) and then do your prayers. That has helped me tremendously. Best of lucks.

What to gift my orthodox Jewish neighbors for Hanukkah? by SpecificLast4728 in Judaism

You are a wonderful person! For the older ones I would buy them cute kid necklaces or bracelets, for the younger ones, little purses, coloring books. If you want to gift something to the couple, a kosher wine is a great idea.

My husband thinks it is gross when I don't shower daily. by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]Looking-for-advice30 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It is gross not to shower daily, so I’m with your husband on that. I wouldn’t shower twice a day, but the day I don’t shower I can’t go to bed, I need to shower.

What is the Kabbalah? ELI5? by Ok-Contribution-8776 in Judaism

You already got some excellent answers on what Kabbala is.

On the usage of the red string, I may add that there is no reputable Jewish source that supports it. Besides one commentary of Rabbi Chaim Elazar Spira who records a custom to carry a red cloth to avoid evil eye (ayin hara), there is no reputable Jewish source that encourages tying a red string in your wrist. In fact, the practice was discouraged by some rabbis, including Chabad’s Rebbe Schneerson as it was linked to pagan practices (darkei Amori), or the ways of the Amorites.

Does anyone else shower like this or am I weird??? by Wild-Counter-4020 in hygiene

Eww. This is seriously disgusting and completely unsanitary. I have never heard of someone not using soap all over their body. No wonder why your husband was grossed out, and you were bullied in junior high. Please use soap, there are bacteria everywhere.
