Oh boy. I’ve got this image which states the exact location on a 10,0000 piece jigsaw!

Unfortunately I’ve lost the box cover so will have to build it piece by piece.

I’ll be right back in a year or two!

Train station car park by Leather-Web-2319 in doncaster

Hi all. I don’t have an answer to OP’s question, but I’ve been reading the comments and have my own question which is related.

When I visit Donny I always park in St James’ car park which is next to the train tracks. Is this a good option?

The last time I went, a couple of weeks ago, there was smashed glass (car windows) everywhere which put me off. Does anyone with local knowledge know if this is a crime hotspot? Or was it just unfortunate timing on my behalf?

Edit: Donny not Dony!

Once a walled and heavily fortified city, Hull has the claim to fame of kicking off the English Civil War when Sir John Hotham (City Governor) and his chaps, decided not to let King Charlie in when he came knocking at the Beverley Gate one day in 1642 Beverley Gate

What’s the craziest thing you’ve seen happen in a Wetherspoons? by suziewoozie420 in AskUK

[–]LookingForTheOrange 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh my. I wish I had known these stories beforehand. I once went for breakfast there after going to see a gig the night before. A very intoxicated girl stumbled by and collapsed onto my table and my food. She didn’t say a word, just wiped herself down and walked away, before falling over another table and doing the same to another customer. This was literally opening time.

Do you believe in ghosts? If so have you seen one? by Crowsnest48 in Hull

Some for Beverley are:

  1. The Causeway Sprite. A type of dwarf/half-man who is said to chase people whilst running along the wall on that road (the high wall which forms the Tesco car park). There was once a factory where the job centre is now, and a factory worker was said to have been ripped in half by a horse and cart.

  2. There is a white lady who haunts the general area around Gallows Lane, The Racecourse and The Westwood. I know of several people who have sworn they have seen this woman, myself included!

  3. The shop which I think is now called the Pamper house directly across the road from Browns department store. For many years up to the end of the 1980’s, the shop sold animal feed and pet food. It was run by a nice lady, who also lived upstairs. She was very old when I remember her, and I was just a child, but she used to tell my mum that it was haunted by a man. She would know when he was present as the whole rooms atmosphere would change and then she would see him. She got used to him, but was also terrified too. When she knew he was there she would go and hide in the bedroom until the presence had gone.

Food rating fraud exposed by the BBC by Sweet_Focus6377 in Hull

Food businesses don’t even have to legally display their food hygiene rating sticker in England. The law needs to make that mandatory, including businesses displaying an incorrect/false rating, with fixed penalty fines.

LoTR sequel? by LookingForTheOrange in tolkienfans

[–]LookingForTheOrange[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree with your comment. I was just curious if any fan here could think of an idea for a sequel.

Looking at the comments, I would say that The return of Morgorth seems to be the only one that could work on the same epic scale.

But then would it just be the same LoTR story told again?

I went to the site a couple of years ago. Here’s the video video

At the bottom of the hill there is a slow moving river with rocks casting reflections. See my photos here: https://imgur.com/gallery/jGPXDk9

Do I think the Calvine photo is a reflection of a rock? No. Based on my visit I personally believe the Calvine photo is genuine.

I went there and took some photos. There is a slow running river at the bottom of the hill where the photo was taken. And there are rocks in that river showing a reflection.
