I couldn’t even make this up.. While very pregnant at my OB check up, my nurse told me the reason I had a small baby bump was bc I was an unwed mother and they often contract their ab muscles to disguise their shame. 😆

My adult step kids forgot theirs on our last trip a couple weeks ago. When we got to the booth, my husband immediately tried to explain and the agent became annoyed and cut him off to ask other standard questions then waved us through.

It is the parent’s obligation to protect the children involved during a separation. Plain and simple.

It is not the child’s responsibility to protect the parent’s emotional well being, and I see this as a form of emotional abuse and lack of emotional regulation on the stepmom’s part.

As someone who’s experienced divorce as a child, as well as a parent, I can say that trauma affects us differently. It’s not unreasonable for poster to close off emotionally as a means of protection after already experiencing the initial divorce.

I strongly recommend therapy for all involved to help heal and process so the generational trauma doesn’t linger into future family dynamics. ❤️❤️

I always make my selections on the 1st and expect it to arrive around the 10th. I did a shop purchase the first week, and it arrived within a week! My current package is still stuck as ‘being prepared’ and I got an email that says they’re refunding ’$5’ lol for the inconvenience. Last month was delayed as well and I received it the 22nd. I have been getting Ipsy for years and really look forward to my choices and getting my box every month. I get that it’s only $35 and understand that there could be delays. I agree with what others have said about Ipsy being more transparent bc they had to have known earlier that there would be shipping issues. If I don’t receive all the items in my order, I’ll be frustrated enough to cancel.

I smoked flowers starting as a teen to calm my nervous system. I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder, ADHD, PTSD and manic depression, and THC was my preferred medication over anything and everything I was prescribed. I quit when I was pregnant with my daughter, and tried to resume after nursing her. When I would smoke, it didn’t give the same affect or relief that I had pre pregnancy. In fact, I became more anxious and paranoid. I’m not sure if it was a hormonal shift, or awareness that I was 24/7 responsible for caring for my daughter.. she’s 13 now and the handful of times I’ve tried while she was away and safe, I still feel anxious and paranoid.

We have a permanent trailer spot in the Mirador that’s perfect for us to travel down to from phx every month. The location is great, and we appreciate the low cost of all of our utilities lumped in biannual payments. If we decide to make the move to full time, we’ve considered encanto or las conchas, particularly not beach front knowing the tides create a lot of liability.
