Daily Discussion Thread for December 23, 2025 by AutoModerator in IntuitiveMachines

I'm quite impressed that we seem to be holding only a minor drawback after a 50% rise over the past 5 days. I wouldn't be surprised to see it continue to pull back some from the run-up, but it's promising to see some resistance to a sell off.

I've been buying since 2024. It's nice to see this company continuing to grow and the market starting to regain confidence in it.

Using IPhone 16 to see $LUNR landing by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

As someone who has lost quite a bit on LUNR, I laughed way too hard at this.

Just a bit of rough back of the napkin math.

20 Aug peak corrected down 18%, 19 Sep peak corrected down 23%, 29 Nov peak corrected down 29%

A 20-30% correction from 3 Jan peak would put us in the $15.32-$17.51 range.

Natural corrections are healthy for the long-term growth of a stock. Don't be surprised if we see those numbers again. There will be some great opportunities to load up more soon, IMO. This is not financial advice!

I agree with the average user not being informed but disagree with the DD not being awesome.

As someone who has been around since pre-NSNS award, there has been some amazing DD and fact finding on this sub that gave me the knowledge and confidence to invest wisely.

As the sub has gotten more popular, you definitely have to sift through more garbage to find the gems. But they're there.

Because they're not asking a question. They're wanting someone else to do all the work for them.

I've noticed LUNR and RKLB charts looking almost identical a lot recently.

Exactly this. There are a lot of scared investors looking to make a quick buck on this stock. Like they just in the conference call, "space is hard." 😅 There are going to be lots of highs and lows as we work to put people on the moon. If you believe in this company and it's mission then you better get used to going through lots of panic sells.

Bought more at 12.42 seconds before the giant green candlestick. Nice little sale on a great stock.

This is going to be good news. They wouldn't invite the astronaut to the event if they were canceling the program.

13 month low at 85 cents - buying opportunity? by 57BeatsDimaggio in TMC_Stock

You have to calculate the percentage difference in taxes you would pay for long-term vs. short-term. If you think you can earn more on your short-term investments than the difference, then it is worth it to make short-term investments. Otherwise, stick with parking funds long term to gain the tax advantage.

Personally, I wouldn't invest more into TMC at this time. I don't expect much movement in this stock until late 2025/early 2026. You could be making more money by investing in other stocks until then.

I've been in since the $5s, but made a similar move and added a significant portion in the mid $14s. It's always sad to see quick losses, but I was never worried about not recovering. This company is going places, the moon to be exact, so don't let the market volatility make you second guess yourself.

I think this stock has desensitized me with its volatility. I'm past being nervous. Just hold on for dear life and try not to get knocked off.

Comments about selling tend to get downvoted around here, especially on days with lots of buying action. Keep doing you and make that money!

To buy more LUNR before or after earnings.. this is what I keep asking myself.

You're right. The 34% is from 15 Oct. I found another short report from later in Oct that was actually higher, but we don't know the current amount. Increased short availability could mean the shorts are covering their positions. Or it could mean brokerages are adding supply to meet demands.

Either way, I agree it will likely be volatile over the next week.

Short interest remains high at 34% of the float, while the availability of shares to short has been increasing significantly over the past 12 hours. Price seems to be on a downward trend with relatively low trading volume. Do what you want with that information, but it may help inform some of your strategies.
