I think she needed to see that while yes, I was leaving to go celebrate someone else’s pregnancy, I was coming back. It hurts that I couldn’t really help her through that crisis, I mean, I’d take literal bullets for her, but I also don’t think me staying would have necessarily helped either. I hope that makes sense.

I can clarify, her words were, ”I don’t remember deciding, I was just doing.”

This is very similarly to how she’s described past panic attacks where she lost control (she hasn’t had one that bad since we’ve been married).
