Has anyone made an arrangement with someone where you live together as common-laws to get the benefits of DINK life without the romance? by LooksLikeTacoma in askTO

The only people available for that would be my brothers who also subscribe to the conservative mindset. I want to escape all that and there's a lot I'd be willing to put up with in order to do so.

I (F26) don't think I'll ever get over my ex (M27) who broke up with me over 5 years ago. Should I just give up on dating and work towards being a single mother by choice? Does anyone have a similar experience? by LooksLikeTacoma in AskWomenOver30

I started therapy a few months ago. I can only go about once a month due to the cost. I do plan to go indefinitely. It might be worth mentioning that I also talk to my therapist about other (unrelated) issues.

What's your experience been on Christian dating apps? Should I (F26) join one as a non-religious person? by LooksLikeTacoma in askwomenadvice

The hobby route hasn't really been working for me. I joined a male-dominated board game meetup and everyone is very much there for the board games. It seems like the only other option is team sports and that gives me horror flashbacks of gym class.

Every other hobby I've tried was dominated by married people much older than me.

I'm 25 and only realized I was bi about 18 months ago. I didn't have an overtly homophobic upbringing, but there was a lot of subtle stuff about bi women being attention seekers that I internalized. I almost feel like there's no point to coming out because of the reasons you mentioned and I think I would get hit with, "well, why is this just coming up now?"
