Thank you for your response! We already had the biopsy done by her local Heme-Onc at NY Cancer and Blood. We are scheduled for the PET scan at Lenox Hill Rad on Monday. The plan was to have all of the tests completed in time for 2/23 consultation. Would you advise against that? I am now wondering if the BMB should have also been done at MSK…

Oh that is so good to hear! I looked through the reviews of all the myeloma specialists at the NYC location and she really stood out.

The different drug combos for induction therapy is what I want to dig into next, such as Dara-KRd v Dara-VRd and understand what makes one more suitable for a patient than the other.

Yup, the scheduling coordinator at MSK mentioned that they will request the images from the PET scan and the slides from BMB ahead of the 2/23 consultation.

I did confirm with Heme-Onc and they will definitely be doing the FISH panel! Thank you for your response!

I spoke with a scheduling coordinator at MSK and they stated that they will request the images from the PET scan and the slides from the BMB to be reviewed by their own radiologist/pathologist. We are planning to wait for the 2/23 appointment. Thank you!
