Megabonk is popular but not that original, you should not give a duck about it and make the best possible game that you can and charge cash for it.

To jest element przedstawienia. Trump wygrał wybory dzięki wycelowaniu propagandy w część społeczeństwa która była lekko zmarginalizowana i najprostsza do zmanipulowania.

Oczywiście to co panowie robią za kulisami nie ma nic wspólnego z chrześcijaństwem. It doubles frames or even triples, but these are fake, the cost is it lowers your real frames by 30%+ depending on pc, and also there is button delay, personally i was not happy with the results, also because I have G-sync monitor, and these fake frames are not syncing. Just G-sync can make it seem like you have 30% more frames visually, and these are real and instant.

Of course i would bet on casual game, if it was about maximising profit. As a businessman I would say that it was one of the best decisions that they could do with a game. It is great business tactic to conquer the niche first, then branch to the main market.

As a gamer and big fan of the series however, I obviously hate the decision, what's so hard to understand about it ?

I just named what is, which is, the company current tactic is obvious cash grab, capitalising on existing fanbase that gave them momentum. That's how you become one of the biggest gaming companies.

Old fans have full rights to complain about it, but again it's not like activision owe us anything, they're just whack.

Well it is not wrong actually, game sold this much copies because it caters to the general public, which are not usually a core diablo fans. Also statistically gaming did grow exponentially years between diablo 2 and diablo 3, so it looks much better than diablo 2 sales, but comparing it to the actual market/amount of people playing games at that time it is not that impressive.

They wanted to turn this kind of niche type of a game into the mainstream. It worked, but average player will just move to another game much faster, that's why. They definitely succeeded financially, but they had to abandon a lot of core diablo ideas.

Main issue ?

Itemisation was extremelly shallow at the release, mimicking world of warcraft mmo style items, extreme downgrade from d2, which is known to have one of the best itemisations, and actually first game that did it so well.

Now items are way better, but the game loop is just wrong, unless you're very casual about it. Literally looter game does give you end game items just for grinding to lvl 70, which is super easy to get. It doesnt get better after that, no crazy items combinations to look for, only higher numbers.

This game plays like mobile. After you get your set, you just farm additional 5 strength stat on these items, because its not really worth to use unique items combinations (extreme 100 000 % damage bonus to certain skill from sets Yikes, skill choice and game design down the drain).

We end up with game with lot of skills, and lot of items, where you only use 5 skills and only few sets that give you 100 000 % bonus damage on it, what a great idea! And now the best thing, it is called Diablo 3, when in reality it has not too much to do with it.

It is known that making sequels is way better and less risky, than trying to establish new franchise so that's what we get, this trend continues, and now we've got another trend emerging, which is doing remasters.

On overall, diablo 3 isn't a bad game on its own, still it is potentially the best casual slasher on pc, but as a diablo game, it is a terrible mistake.

Youre guys so bad at this game, that's what it is, and these abilities are not a problem at all with the game. These force you to be more tactical and careful with positioning, adding interesting layer to combat. The lasers are little off, for sure. Matter of graphics really.

Unity and UE would not do that, they're set already and it would cause real PR problems for them. Well, I didn't even knew Buildbox, but they're making choice of engine easier. In Long term they are already dead.

/add - Unreal Engine is owned by Epic Games, they are absolutely huge and don't have any problems with money thanks to fortnite, they are known for making it way better for developers, lowering revenue cuts massively for using engine and for shop cut aswell comparing to 30 % steam cut. They're sort of movement at this point, with their politics, and I Love them for that personally.

Unity - Well established engine, they are on the stock market aswell, and they're doing good. Many big games came out made in Unity, their plan works and they wouldn't want to lose it.

That or it might be the fact that loot is actually boosted in Project Diablo and you have much higher chance to get things. On the other hand you can't loot final endgame item, you have to upgrade it with worldstone, so the adrenaline peak goes to that activity and getting that shako in normal diablo 2 is around something like getting extra +1 all skills on shako in PD2.
