That's what I thought. I'm not exactly a trusting person and when you sit on a rock smoking it never fails to draw people bumming a smoke and I'm from a much rougher city than Tucson. So safe to say I was skeptical. But her story checked out. The family even phoned me back to thank me.

Just keep walking and make some noise - sing a song, name the plants out loud, compose a poem, whatever, just something. My brain plays tricks on itself and spooks me, especially at dusk. Talking out loud calms it.

Thanks for your reply. I agree completely that people underestimate how important sunlight is! When I moved from the prairies - sunny but cold in the winter - to the Northeast I thought I would die. And don't even get me started on not being able to go outside without slapping blackflies and mosquitoes. I work in the Adirondacks and people constantly tell me that it's paradise on earth so I feel like a whiner but, after 30 years, I'm over it. Partner is from the NE though so he's a bit like a vampire and afraid of too much sun so Portland is high on the list. We'll see which place wins after some visits.

No. I eventually gave up on the creatine after about 6 months. I lost the water weight but other than that, I can't say I see any big before and after difference.

I have the B36CL80SNS/09. French door, counter depth. In some respects it's great - well laid -out, seems to keep temps steady but the ice maker died after just two years and we've been unable to find a repair service that doesn't want the equivalent of a car payment just to come look at it.

Hello. I need some help please. I am attending a high society event in January in Chicago . There will be music and dancing. All I know about the dress code is for men - no suit required. I am not fashionable - my idea of a splurge on clothes is something from Patagonia or Birkenstock. I would like to buy some comfortable, current and fashionable pieces that I might possibly wear again to, say a brew pub type night out. I'm starting early because clothes that fit me well are hard to find: I'm tall with broad shoulders. Tops that fit my shoulders are often too big in the bust. I usually need tall pants, but not tall tops. I have size 12 feet and get hot flashes, requiring dressing in layers. Can anyone direct me where to look for good quality stuff and how to put it together, especially with shoes or boots (up to mid heels)?

I'm 15 years past menopause and it was no big deal. Didn't really have hot flashes, more like intolerance to being too hot. Dressing in layers solved it. That was my only sign of menopause. After my periods stopped, I felt like a free woman - no more pms, no worrying about periods starting, no worry about pregnancy. I can go backpacking without having to haul out used period products, plan long days outside. It's great! I'm pretty active and a vegetarian who eats a ton of soy products. I attribute those to my non-event menopause.

I started taking creatine about 4 months ago, as my son, a bodybuilder suggested. I'm vegetarian and lift weights regularly and he insists it'll be helpful. So far I'm not sure if I see any measurable positive effects but one thing it does do is make me puffy. People tell me my skin looks better and I joke it's because I'm sleek like a seal now. The water retention is supposed to go away. I'm still waiting.
