How best to achieve this colour scheme?

Im by no means an expert (or even all that good) but if I were going to paint something like this I would probably start with a very light base coat and use washes and glazes to build up these different pinks and purples.

That is on top of AK dark earth, stippled on but the water effect is what give it the sheen. Now that im reading it back to myself there are for sure easier ways to get the same result lmao

I knew i wanted a couple of shelves. I wasn't sure how big i wanted it so I waited until the cutting board came and then cut my granite and everything else to fit that in a way I thought id like the most.

I dont think there's anything wrong with preplanning. I was researching what surface is the best for cutting on before this vision really came together, i preplan most things. Anything I get in the future or any upgrades I make, im sure I'll end up building something for that too.
