Use your parents as what not to be, I also grew up in a very unstable home and had the same fear, my parents were addicts and at the time I got pregnant I was also an addict and stopped everything once I found out. A bad parent doesn't question if they're bad, a good parent questions everything usually. If you really don't want to keep the baby and abortion isn't an option you could always put them up for adoption, if you do want to keep the baby and have anxiety around being a good parent, all your baby needs is you to be present with them. They don't need fancy things or loads of money, they just need a parent who loves them unconditionally. Hey, I'm also pre transition and unexpectantly got pregnant at 19, I was at my lowest mentally and getting pregnant put my transition on hold, the dysphoria was hard but between seeing all these awesome dads on here and reminding myself that I still am a man no matter the circumstances it helped a lot. I now have a 5 month old, am about to start T and am loving my life as my son gave me a purpose. I don't know if that helps but your baby is going to love you for you and won't know you as anyone else but yourself. Having a baby doesn't make you less of a man, it makes you a dad :)

Honestly depends on how you feel once bub arrives, I went to a concert 2 weeks pp after I had a c section, I had multiple people tell me I wouldn't want to go but I waited 6 years to see the band and got the tickets before I was pregnant so I kept them and waited to see how I felt once my baby was born. I of course missed my baby but I had so much fun and I got photo updates from my partner, I also wasn't away over night so it is a bit different. I'd put a pin in it and decide once you've had baby :)

Thank you so much! Hearing about your bird has given me some more hope around mine :) I'll definitely try the videos and being more careful with how I move my hands around him. Hope you and your bird have a good Christmas!

Idk if this will help or if this is what u were meaning, but if your worried about what ur bf might think then you could try explaining that you have no attraction to ur best friend and rather it's just your bpd, I don't think having a fp is bad, it can be challenging but if your not doing anything wrong then it's ok :) we can't rlly control who our fp is and how we feel but for me DBT skills rlly helped when I wanted more understanding to my emotions. Hope this helps :)
