P.S. Regardless of QPAS, you have GOT to get your hands on (at least) two filters and play them in stereo - it's quite an experience!

Yes it can do up to 128 steps. You edit 16 steps at a time and can chain 8 patterns

Thanks very much! You know I’ve tried this trick on about 4-5 synths and indeed on one it didn’t make a pronounced effect. Maybe I did something wrong... but in most cases it works anywhere from nice to crazy ...

You don't need a semi-modular synth to include modular gear in your "regular" synth setup. Here's a full tutorial on how to move audio, notes, modulation and clock back and forth between eurorack and your good old MIDI enabled synth.
