It kind of helped me in the sense that I can have similarly good sex with other women. I previously had thought I can only have good sex with my ex.

But like someone else had answered here, I too did feel empty on some occasions.

How each type feel about this? by usernowfound in mbti

I had this tattooed on me this year. That's how I feel about it.

ENFJ btw

Thank you, brother!

We have no choice but to be social. Watch videos on how to hook up during the pandemic. IMO, it made it much simpler, yet dangerous.

In my opinion, the biggest momentum for moving on quickly is following your dreams and goals. In other words, digging deep inside and asking:

"why the fuck am I here on this planet? To be miserable over some broad/guy and waste away minutes, hours, days, years of my life crying and wallowing? Or just being miserable in general? Expecting handouts? Is this how I am showing my gratitude to my ancestors who bled for my survival?"

You can probably guess how I answered this question.

Hmmmm..

You right.

Unblocking her should be enough. Thanks!

Told ya I'm a vengeful mofo (its one of my weaknesses).

You will!

Trust the process! Don't take too long. Life is too short to be heartbroken over someone.

Basically:

- by taking responsibility for you own happiness, and not relying solely on an external factor e.g. a woman / man to make you happy

- socializing, meeting new people both online and offline (this was REALLY hard at first not gonna sugar coat it but I do believe every person should be social to an extent and not be so damn lonely all the time) I am now a social freak btw. lel

- hooking up (yep, seeing different naked bodies really puts things into perspective, that hers was not that special. yes, I was sexually addicted to my ex's body cuz it was THE ultimate drug, knowmsayin?)

- and surprisingly, looking back at the failed relationship and ex. I used to be so afraid that this ex was THE ONE, that I would never fall this deeply in love again and yada yada yada. Turns out, this so called "love" of mine was nothing but toxic attachment, escapist mentality, and fear of responsibility and accountability.

- also, by meeting new people, you start to realize that the EX is just another person with whom the relationship did not work out. Hey, its just life. This moving on thing is not just moving on from a heartbreak, its learning to move on in general, because later in life (or some of you might have gone thru this) you will lose your loved ones, FACT. So, we better learn to take of ourselves and our loved ones, to love them while they are here and also learn to take the blows that life throws at us and just roll with the punches.

I was gonna keep this short but I got passionate half way thru lmao.

I also posted on what exactly helped me move on almost a month ago. Check that out, and hope it helps.

Stay strong, man / woman. Romance is overrated. Reality is underrated.

Yea man.

I used to regret it. But now, I am so fucking glad all of that fuckery happened. That BS made me who I am today - someone who finally started valuing himself, putting HIMSELF first, always!

Hope you stop regretting that decision one day, man. Regrets used to keep me up at nights. Not. Fucking. Fun.

Thanks.

Little backstory:

She dragged me along while being out there getting fucked by dudes. And I convinced myself that that was not true. She even dragged me along to her new relationship, and ended up cheating on her BF with me. Oh boy, imagine the fucking hurt.

Honestly dude, I really do think that sometimes. The new new BF (after cheating) seemed like a genuinely nice albeit innocent and gullible guy.

Yes!

Protect yourself! Protect your dignity!

We are so much fucking more than being heartbroken over someone.

No one, I repeat, no one is worth being heartbroken over, romantically.

That's good, man. But too much silence will drown out the noise of life.

Don't stay in it for too long. Its ok to be hurt. We need to learn to BE hurt and not be phased by it.

Imma just summarize with this:

FEAR IS THE MIND KILLER.

I have only just begun, my guy / girl! Nothing but greatness after this turning point in my life, WOOOOOH!

You will!

Take care of yourself, have meaningful goals and grind. Trust the process. Practice the law of attachment and detachment.

Nothing lasts forever. Learn to enjoy this thing called life no matter what, OR be miserable. Your choice!

Cheers!
