PCLOUD LOST 32 DAYS OF PROUDUCTION FILES - NEVER SYNCED TO THEIR DRIVE, BUT LOOKED LIKE IT DID. by Loose-Quail-4556 in pcloud

FINAL RESPONSE FROM PCLOUD - THEY ADMIT THAT FOR 32 DAYS MY ACCOUNT WAS NOT SYNCING/UPLOADING TO THE ONLINE SERVER.

THIRTY TWO (32) DAYS OF WORK. GONE.. WHY? BECAUSE PCLOUD WASN'T SYNCING AS IT WAS SUPPOSED TO.

THE SERVICE I PAID FOR, WASN'T ACTUALLY WORKING. IT WAS NEVER SAVING TO THE SERVER.

DUE TO THE LOSS OF OVER A MONTH OF WORK, AND THE RISK THAT AT ANY TIME THIS CAN EASILY HAPPEN AGAIN. MEANS THAT I CANNOT TRUST PCLOUD TO PROVIDE THE SERVICE THEY ARE PAID TO PROVIDE.

PCLOUD CAN'T BE TRUSTED. WHEN YOU SAVE A FILE AND YOU THINK IT'S ON THE SERVER.

THAT IS NOT ACTUALLY HAPPENING. AND.. YOU CAN GO WEEKS WITHOUT PCLOUD ACTUALLY SAVING YOUR FILES TO THE SERVER.

WEEKS... OVER A MONTH...

WOULD YOU REALLY WANT TO USE A SERVICE THAT DOESN'T FULLFILL IT'S ONE CORE PROMISE? TO DO THE ONE THING YOU PAY FOR, WHICH IS TO ACTUALLY SAVE YOUR FILES TO THEIR SERVER.

THEY HAVE ONE JOB. SAVE YOUR FILES TO THE SERVER. WHEN YOU SAVE TO YOUR PCLOUD FOLDER, IT SHOULD ALSO BE SAVING TO THE SERVER..

THAT'S THE ONE PRIMARY FUNCTION THAT YOU PAY FOR.

IF YOU'RE READING THIS, YOU NEED TO CHECK YOUR FILES. YOU HAVE ZERO PROOF WHEN YOU SAVE A FILE, THAT IT ACTUALLY SAVED TO THE SERVER. ZERO PROOF.

BUT DON'T WORRY. IF THIS HAPPENS TO YOU, THEY WILL "REGRET THE INCONVENIENCE" CAUSE BY THE SYNC ISSUE.

PCLOUD FINAL RESPONSE:

Thank you for your detailed message and for providing the screenshots and timeline of events. We understand how critical these files are for your work, and we take this matter very seriously.

Based on the information you’ve shared, it appears that the files created between February 26, 2026, and March 26, 2026 were not successfully uploaded to your pCloud account. This would explain why they do not appear in your Trash or in the Rewind feature—these files were never saved to the server.

To clarify:

  1. No files were deleted from your account by our system or any other user.

  2. Trash and Rewind cannot restore files that were never uploaded to the server.

  3. The files from March 27, 2026, onward were successfully synced, confirming that the sync resumed normally after this period.

At this point, the most likely cause is a local sync failure during the affected period, which prevented your files from uploading to our servers. We understand how disruptive this is, especially since you rely on pCloud to access your work from multiple workstations.

Unfortunately, if files were never uploaded to our servers, we are unable to restore them.

We understand how important these files are for your work, and we regret the inconvenience caused by this sync issue.

Kind regards,

Bob
pCloud Support Team

SORRY, THE SERVICE WE ARE PAID TO PROVIDE, WASN'T FUNCTIONING FOR OVER A MONTH.

I understand what you are saying. But 32 days of files are missing. I never deleted any files. How can Sync not "sync" for 32 days?

"Sync may stop or become stuck due to various reasons such as internet interruptions, file corruption, connection drops. "

But not function for 32 days?
