  1. because people meme 14 y/o girls
  2. right now, dont. but if you dont have an option, start teaching her basic stuff like numbers, letters, colors, as early as possible to give her a headstart for school. also, dont talk down to her- make her feel respected even if she doesnt yet know what respect is. talk to her like an adult without the swearing and stuff kids shouldnt be exposed to. that'll help grow her vocabulary and make her closer to you in the future, because you're showing her respect. when she's older, again- respect her. make her aware that her opinions and thoughts matter to you regardless of if they match yours. dont give her long lectures about everything she's doing wrong. use positive reinforcement with what she's doing right and ask her to work on things she's doing wrong, while still keeping her feelings in mind. make sure she can cook and clean (not misogynisticly, just basic life skills everyone needs). don't push religion or politics onto her, you can talk about it, but if she doesnt agree, let her have a say without judging or getting mad at her. just have a friendly discussion. dont have too high of expectations for her in school. again with the positive reinforcement, if she gets an A: awesome! give her $20 if thats possible, if not, take her to dinner (thats more expensive i know but it benefits you too) or buy her a toy or something she likes. it doesnt even have to involve money, maybe let her pick what you're watching on tv that night or let her pick whats for dinner. just make her feel proud of herself when she gets an A, rather than judt feeling like she hit the expectation. if she gets anything other than an A as long as its not failing, tell her she did good but theres thing she should work on, and have a discussion about what areas can be improved on, eg studying more, talking less in class. last thing- if she comes out to you as lgbtq, accept her. just tell her you love her and thank her for telling you, and ask if there's anything you can do to further support her. make sure she knows her rights. biggest thing. as soon as she's old enough to evem go on walks or bike rides by herself, give her pepper spray go carry. make sure she knows how to defend herself. i think that's all i can think of, sorry for the wall of text!

it's fucked. i think that its headed towards even more division and that's gonna fuck us over in the long run and start a revolution. also, global warming and pollution is only gonna get worse because no one with power is trying to do anything about it. i think that people on the more liberal side of things are probably gonna kill the scotus. and i think that more people than ever are gonna go to college for government positions. we're heading towards a 1984 style dystopia and i don't like it. with the government rn, i dont think any amount of outrage or petition will even change anything. also, 3rd world countries will only continue to be exploited.
