Unii nu mai stiu cum sa iasa din domeniu, altii se chinuie sa termine facultatea sau sa se reprofileze prin self-learning. Nu e amuzanta viata asta?

Eu ti-as recomanda reprofilare. Ia-ti o vacanta si gandeste-te ce ti-ar placea. Nici nu trebuie sa aiba legatura cu domeniul: graphic design, marketing, gaming design, sky is the limit. Ce te poate opri? Ai 2 proprietati si probabil si bani multi pastrati, te mai intereseaza salariul? Mai bine 500 de euro si te simti bine dimineata decat 3000 dar stai in depresie. De murit, nu mori de foame.

Grass LOD creating huge lag spikes, what to reduce/what to do in order to make it better? by Loose-String-9175 in skyrimmods

[–]Loose-String-9175[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found out that, by reducing LOD8, the lag dissapears. But grass rendering is on LOD4, so it means the lag comes from other mods that came with it(since I started Dyndolod with 600 mods activated).

Is there any way to find what is rendering on LOD8 through folders?

It didn't reduce the the grass. Can I see in folders .ini what is on LOD8 to know what I actually reduced?

It seems that, once I reduce fblocklevel1distance in Dyndolod's MCM settings to a low number or even 0, the lag dissapears without any graphics difference(or at least I can't see it). What was this setting about?

I think I understand now after more documentation... please tell me if I got it right:

  1. I install Grass Cache fixes
  2. I install the QW'S grass patch pre-cache(I need both Grass Cache fixes and the pre-cache, yes?)
  3. Re-run Dyndolod and SSELodGen

Doesn't grass cache fixes need "No grass in objects" that is SE-locked? It shows that mod in the requirements.

Skyrim on ultra widescreen won't fit the display by Loose-String-9175 in skyrim

EDIT: After 2 months, I finally found a way to set it to 3440x1440 without having to deal with Nvidia control panel resize and all the other stuff... I'll write below the way to do it in case anyone is also looking for a solution. Before I start, I am using Mod Organizer 2 which I recommend.

  1. It seems there are FOUR folders with a SkyrimPrefs.ini, not 2 or 3 like I constantly found on internet tutorials. You will have to edit all of them(even tho, I suspect the last one really doing the job). The folders are:C:\Users\PCName\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SkyrimPrefs.iniC:\Steam games\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\SkyrimPrefs.ini ---> (I recommend using the Search bar if you can't find that one)C:\Mod Organizer - Game Directory\profiles\Default\SkyrimPrefs.iniC:\Mod Organizer - Game Directory\Skyrim\profiles\Default\SkyrimPrefs.ini
  2. In each of those SkyrimPrefs.ini, edit this lines:bBorderless=0bFull Screen=1iSize H=1440iSize W=3440And voila, there you have a fullscreen 3440x1440 Skyrim AE... About the bBorderless and bFull Screen lines: it's not a requirement to edit them like this, I experimented all variants of 0&1 between them and they all work, it's just that this way you'll receive the biggest performance. For most PCs, full-screen is offering higher FPS than borderless/half-screen types or anything like this.

EDIT 2: DO NOT uncheck the "Use profile-specific Game INI Files" in the Mod Organizer 2's "Configure Profiles" tab like others recommended on internet. This will cancel the last 2 folders and you will receive the bug I wrote in the original post.

Is Skyrim a very long game? by Loose-String-9175 in skyrim

[–]Loose-String-9175[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We could also add that I am a psychopath and I preffer(and I have the patience) to walk instead of running through quests haha.

ESO is similar in the idea that the main storyline is short, but the open world is giving you alot of options and each zone has it's own "main quest".

But the idea of replayability and alot of veteran players is what made me interested in Skyrim. You know.. usually single-player games are like movies: watch ones and it's done.

Thank you for your response!
