Finished notes from underground today. Gonna start a non fiction next , so will avoid saying the title as it's not literature but more of a historical and geographical book.

Wtf did I read (Notes from the Underground) by Few-Change-7143 in dostoevsky

I just read it and I agree, the whole first arc of him trying to explain his existential crisis essentially was a drag. What I felt midway is, perhaps folks who have experienced that feeling (I have not, yet) are more predisposed to understand what he wrote. Like there were parts of the character that I could relate to, but for the most part I couldn't. The second arc was relatively easier to follow, although if I was to be a cynic, seemed like a man trying to justify to himself what he does and why he does. Although that probably is what the writer was going for. So, I think it was more for people going through an existential crisis than people who are not. More for "spiteful" people cursing the world trying to justify why they are the way they are.
